if you take a spore print it should be creamy to off pink if i remember correctly. they are edible but must be cooked to shit to avoid stomach upsetting but i would double verify it your self before eating it.

Is that synonymous with Lepista sordida? I think maybe it's more like Lepista irina actually maybe not.

I'll take a spore print today. Will that help distinguish whether it is tarda or nuda? Thanks for the help

Not really, the spore print will be pink either way.

yeah i take my claim back, tarda is known as the feild bewit, and since this clitocybe is in a feild could be it, they are very similar, the reason i claim nuda is because in my experience i have seen tons in that color before but those are normally found in forested areas. spore print will be the same huge for both. but look up the stuff your self to make sure for yourself.

A bourbon lover, huh?

Have you tried Blanton's? Or Town Branch?  Both are small batch, single barrel bourbon's, so no mixer allowed!

For the last 10 years, Blanton's has been my favorite, but the new kid on the block is Town Branch and they could possibly get me to change my mind.
