Misting Monotubs?

I have a few questions I cannot seem to find solid or consistent info on.
For MONOTUBS..
-How do you mist a mono? Is there a sort of schedule you follow and are there strict dos and donts to misting a monotub?
-Do you always mist just the walls and lid or can the sub get misted?
-If you do mist the sub are there different techniques for misting cased and uncased subs?
-Distilled water only, right?

Just spray the sub. Fuck the walls and the lid. But don't mist a mono.

Yes. Uncased subs get misted none. Cased subs also get misted none.

Distilled water only, right?
Tap water for everything but agar, LC and spore syringes.

In a well done monotub you should be able to see visible moisture all throughout the first flush on the walls and the sub. If for some reason the sub looks unusually dry, giving it a single misting isn't going to hurt it. As I said though, if you've prepared it according to the current popular monotub recipes the substrate should be able to produce plenty of humidity on it's own. Not only that but all the water you added to the substrate at the beginning should last through the first flush.

I know a monotub shouldn't need misted but until everything is perfect, i'm sure it can get dry in there from time to time. .. sooo
If the surface is lookin dry do you mist (OR let mist fall onto) the surface or mist the walls or both..... and if ya do,
When? Is there a bad time to mist?
Im guessing if its lookin and feelin very dry maybe you just soak or dunk it for a few hours. Whens best time to soak a tub?

haha, ok
feel on ur sub is pretty funny.
I meant FEEL.. the weight of it.....:/ ,
so you spray the walls and the surface if you really need to, yes?
would you recommend just waiting til after a flush and dunking or soaking instead of bothering with misting
