Hmm.. hadn't thought of that, thanks! Yeah Ill probably not waste my time mixing in cow manure next time. Seems like more of a hassle than its worth. You think its better for yields to mix the two or just leave it simple with HPOO? I figured mixing in different sources would increase the different nutrients that the myc has to choose from.

h-poo on it's own is an awesome substrate, i always break mine up before i pasturize

Drop the manure and pasteurize is something besides an oven roaster. You need water for pasteurization.

nice catch, you should start pasturizing in jars or bags it sounds like your using a pillowcase method

If you're set on using hpoo AND cpoo, consider 70/30 Hpoo/Cpoo - per RR, the reason Hpoo is more commonly used is due to its texture. All in all, if you decrease Cpoo, increase Hpoo and verm, you'll have a substrate easier to work with - airy while still holding plenty of moisture.
