Meth user.... Dentist appointment

I have a dentist appointment this week for the first time in a few years. This is my first appointment with this dentist. I have been using meth sporadically for the past four years and used ecstasy a lot in high school. The last time I went to the dentist I kinda got the impression that my past drug use was apparent from the evidence of clenching/grinding. I have not taken very good care of my teeth since then and have also been using meth on a much more frequent basis this year. My usual ROA is smoking which I know causes the most damage. I try to use bioteen/brush my teeth when ever I use but that's not always possible.
Now days I brush once to twice daily and floss a few times a week. There were times I would miss a day or two at a time. My teeth actually look fine to the untrained eye, I dont have any obvious signs of meth mouth and have even been complemented on my "nice" teeth. That being said I can tell clenching has done some damage and any dentist will know the signs of meth use.
I only have dental insurance until my 24th birthday in July so any necessary work needs to be done now If and when the subject comes up, do I admit my use so they can treat me accordingly? Will being labeled a drug user have any negative repercussions involving my insurance?

True, but chronic dry mouth caused by meth accelerates the damage from grinding. Not to mention the fact I smoke it, which I believe causes more damage than other ROA's.

Don't admit it.
It's true that people have massive problems with clenching at night, I know several people who do that especially when they are having stress. During exams it gets worst, they get terrible headaches and all their neck muscles start contracting and hurting.
Just say you have problems with clenching especially when you are emotionally stressed, family, girlfriend, shitty friends, work sucks etc.

Yeah, I wouldn't bring up the meth use at all. I grind my teeth continuously just out of habit.
I wouldn't worry about it too much. They will probably be more surprised that you are a person who actually flosses.
