Another noob needs some help

I'm doing my second grow with BRF cakes. The first one went quite well through my first flush where I harvested nearly an ounce dry weight. Then I left them in the care of a friend while I was away on business. She let them spore and that killed most of the cakes.
Anyway I started again some months later with all new equipment. This round is not going so well. I've read a LOT of this forum looking for help and have tried more than a few things. I've waited a month and gotten one flush of 8 shrooms off one cake and one shroom off another cake. Now I have one cake with 2 on it.
=Please be kind and try to help. I read so many of these first grow problems threads, but none of them seemed to be on the same kind of issues as the ones I'm having.
Followed the teks quite well I think. I sterilized, colonized, and birthed just fine. The 6 cakes on the right side of the fc were birthed 1.5 weeks before the 5 cakes on the left due to slow colonization. I colonized in a plastic cooler with a seedling heater in it. The temp was 80F the whole time. The cakes were fully colonized for at least a week before birthing.
I built the fc. I drilled 1/4" holes 2" apart in rows on all sides of my chamber. I added sterilized perlite 4-5" deep. Wetted the perlite before I added it to the fc. I have been fanning and misting at least 5 times per day. I covered some holes in the fc with tape because the cakes seemed to be drying out in between mistings during the day. I have the fc about 4' from a window so it is getting some natural light during the day. I recently added the seedling heater to the fc because I noted that the temp in my room was rarely above 70F. I have not had the funds to acquire a decent hygrometer for the fc. I realize that this is huge issue as I know that I should know the humidity for sure. I have a shitty digital hygrometer that I have been putting into the fc every few days, and it will read up to 90% humidity then it stops reading and gets fogged up. So I know that the fc is over 90% humidity at least.
Please view these pics, and please ask more questions, and maybe this won't be a total failure. I'm pretty sure that at a month out, I'm on the verge of giving up on these cakes, but I have hope that you guys can help me.
Pics are as follows: from the right: all cakes, 6left 3 weeks in fc 5right 1 month in fc; Only cake fruiting currently; cake the fruited 8 shrooms aborts covered in mycelium; 3 week old cakes, maybe about to pin?; the fc from the outside, thing might be too large?

I can take and post more pics if you need more info. Thanks!!

Well don't give up on them, you've got a shroom growing there! One of the pro's around here will gently guide you into success.

remove the tape, you want your cakes to have evaporation thats a good thing i would remove the seedling heater, heat the room not the chamber as for your humidity just watch the moisture on the surface of your cakes, mist till it glistens, wait for the glisten to go away before misting again, the moisture/evaporation from your mist gives you 100 % humidity on the surface of your cakes where it matters most. and get them off the perlite and on to some foil asap

And elevate the fruiting chamber a few inches off of the surface and make sure there are holes on the bottom like all the other sides.

I've got the fc up on some clean pint jars. I'm pretty sure its elevated enough.
I'll put the cakes on foil and remove the tape.
Thanks guys!

One question for you OP, are the cakes sitting DIRECTLY on the damp perlite? From your pics, it looks like it.
