Mushroom identification
    #19251287 - 12/09/13 05:16 PM (10 years, 2 months ago)

All these mushrooms were found during rainfall in central NC, in very cold temperatures, mid December.
*I always try to identify mushrooms on google first*

These were found growing straight out of the grass about 20ft from some woods. I don't really have any other descriptions aside from that in what's in the picture.

I found these growing exclusively on pine cones and rotting pine wood around a pile of logs. I doubt they're anything special but just to satisfy my curiosity... They look kinda nice.

These were found growing in the woods mostly around living gumball trees and a few just growing in the leaves, all of them were growing within about 10ft of a creek and no farther. I was able to find some pictures of similar looking and described mushroom but I'm really not sure...

First one is a Laccaria. The second one looks like something in the Marasmiaceae, maybe a Strobilurus or Marasmius. The last one is a mature Armillaria species.

nothing active if that is what you mean. Armillaria are good soup mushrooms  (caps only) and younger

I meant the type of mushroom, since he gave m genus's with many kinds of mushrooms in them. Sorry I was unclear on that.

All of the mushrooms you found are pretty tricky to get to species, with the exception of the Marasmioid species on pine cones. That one should be easy to key out if you are so inclined.
