Im wondering if there is a safe way to transport your substrate jars after they have been inoculated to a different location where they will be fruiting.
Does any one know how to do this?

Elaborate, please. How far? In a car? Plane? Train? Backpack? How many Jars? Why are you inoculating at one location and fruiting at another?

Unlikely in my opinion, but that's beside the point. This still begs the question(s).. Need some more info and we can talk solutions, bub.

10 jars in a 3 hour car ride in state, do not have the space required for fruiting.

Grab a decent thermometer and a cardboard box, turn your heat on low, get the inside of the car between 70-75, play with your wiener until you're there.

Indirect sunlight is encouraged, by the way.

Actually, I spoke out of context. Adjust your temp to whatever conditions your particular spores prefer. So used to talking about cubes I forgot people actually grow others.

the temperature for 3 hours is not going to matter. If it's really cold outside, you can keep them in the car instead of the trunk. But no need to make a big fuss about it.
If they are grain jars they will be fine.
If they are BRF cakes with the dry vermiculite layer as a contam barrier, then the problem will be all the movement and vibration. BRF jars are supposed to be left alone after inoculation so that yo9u don't disturb the contam barrier

Getting the temp inside a small compartment such as the inside of a car would not be difficult to achieve, and if anything would provide piece of mind.

This is correct, though. You'll be fine as long as you aren't knocking them over.

It's not just okay, it's encouraged. Not much of any light getting into the trunk. Not to mention, if he puts them in the trunk he's liable to get to his destination and find a mess when goes to retrieve them. If it were me, I'd want them within arms reach.
