This. It gave the PD, and every other organization for that matter, this overinflated sense that fucking people over and brutalizing citizens is all geared towards "preventing terrorism". If people think the police and the government forces are keeping them safe from terrorists hiding under their beds, they are sorely mistaken... The government is the terrorist cell hiding under their beds. We don't need some fascist parent figure spanking us for everything we do, short of sneezing, we need a reasonable body of governance that embraces and adheres to the inalienable rights of citizens as laid out in the Constitution. Fuck the pigs.

So this agency or whatever automatically reports the circumstances of the arrest to their employer?
The only way I could even agree with this, is if it were a violent crime, and the person in question worked in a position with kids, disabled, etc.
IMHO informing an employer of an arrest (after which they will likely be terminated) almost violates double jeopardy. Were I to go to trial after losing my job due to the police / government, I'd complain that I had already been punished by the government for my "crime." What else could that be, really? The employer, due to info from the government, assumes guilt and enforces a negative consequence to the party in question. Sounds like punishment for a crime, to me.
