exactly, if i DO spray my sab its with just regular water :/ for a rinse

water traps anything that would harm/fall into w/e youre transfering to, and it doesnt evaporate as fast as lysols, etc.
just be still in your SAB

I'd say the main reason why no one is using aerosols in the SAB anymore is because its counter-productive. Stirring up the air defeats the purpose
Maybe I'm old school but I always wipe down my box with alcohol before going to work in there, it only takes a minute and anything we can do to increase our success rate is worth it IMO. Needless to say - a flowhood is in the works for this guy

Sterile tek: I'll write about it sometime soon, but I don't deviate far from RR's techniques in his videos. Some are just modified to work with inside a SAB.
Yes, I wipe down my jars and everything (except petris) with an iso-soaked paper towel.
Updates!
Compensating for a very dry winter (20% RH right now) has been interesting. I've had to adjust my top polyfill a bit and mist a couple tubs to make up for it. I may start opting for a thin casing layer during the winter. The next 12 tubs will help me decide, it'll be a great comparison.
As you'll see in my pics, the Oak Hills variety seems particularly sensitive to dry air. This is not news to me, I saw this on my last few rounds with the OH variety as well. Notice the fluffy white mycelium around the short sides, where the fresh air is coming in the most.
Anyone notice this with Oak Hills before? ...anyone grow oak hills before?
Also, one tub with John Allen Strain variety had a piece of poly fall out of a top hole for a day or two, he has a similar dry patch but it is not fluffy like the Oak Hills.
