Image that best captures the spirit of Christmas
    #19250107 - 12/09/13 01:19 PM (10 years, 1 month ago)

Giving and receiving is what it is all about. What would Christmas be without the children and their pure hearts?

In my opinion if you need an occasion to give and receive I think that's spurious.

To conclude, fuck Christmas.

I am accepting pre-Christmas gifts at this juncture. A few tabs would be nice. TIA

Eh that's why I wanted to start with "in my opinion" to show a stance of 'take it for what it is'.

Sorry if you felt targeted.

no it wasn't targeted. It was idealistic fluff.

and I apologize if this is seemingly severely blunt for such a light hearted thread, but this is what I see as the pervasive problem in this forum. like there is some cabal that is the Legion of Non-Pragmatists.

everyone see's every single post and thread as some riddle that they need to uniquely answer to show off their wit or mental acuity rather than actually talk about the subject.

There's absolutely nothing ironic or hypocritical about your posts in this thread.

The commercialization rules but people do tend to be nicer around this time of year i find, most Londoners are miserable moody mean & impolite, but for a week or so they seem to start being nice to each other, maybe its just cause they get a few days off work

Everything is better than it was the last time.  I'm good.

If we could look into each others hearts, and understand the unique challenges each of us faces, I think we would treat each other much more gently, with more love, patience, tolerance, and care.

It takes a lot of courage to go out there and radiate your essence.

I know you scared, you should ask us if we scared too.  If you was there, and we just knew you cared too.
