Rooting Trichocereus Cuttings

I have a number of Bridgesii cuttings about 4cm thick, and a mature Pachanoi cutting about 10cm thick. About 45 days I go I planted the cuttings in a 50% perlite, 20% coarse river sand, 30% potting mix medium. I made sure to let them scab over for two weeks before planting them. I keep them under a shade cloth, so they still get plenty of light, but aren't exposed to direct sun.
When I planted them, I very lightly moistened the soil with an atomizer, but haven't watered them since, except misting them with one or two spritzes from the atomizer every couple of weeks. It's summer now, so the temperature ranges from 25c to 30c during the day. They are also in the greenhouse with the door open, so it's a bit warmer in there too.
I checked today, but there is still no root growth at all. They haven't grown in height either, although they all still look very healthy.
My other Trichos - Bridgesiis and Peruvianus which I planted as rooted plants in the same medium, have all grown about about 6 to 7cm in 45 days, which I think is very fast (I measure them every week!). I fertilize those with seaweed emulsion once every couple of weeks, which is the only time they get any water.
How long does it normally take for roots to appear? I did read that it can take a couple of months, but some other sources say it only takes 3 or 4 weeks. I'm just wondering if I a might be doing something wrong.
I have loads of other succulents, and they root so easily - I don't even pay attention to them, I toss them on the garden, and within a month they have rooted.
Thanks!

I would stop misting them. At night cacti will pull in moisture through their skin. Here are a couple photos of two Monstrose Bridgesii's that are rooted after three months.

See how dehydrated they are? Until they start to need water, they won't send out roots. If you keep wetting them there's no need to root. These specimens were broken off base plants that had roots when I received them in the mail. In other words, the shipper did a poor job. The base plants died. The pictured plants are roughly 3-4 inches tall.
Edited for clarity.

Thanks Verbage,
I will stop misting them, I think you're right. Even a tiny bit of spritz, like I've been giving them, probably gives them enough water to not want to root.

On top of this, larger cuttings have water reserves. By misting you'll be replenishing their water resources... even if slightly. Ultimately misting makes the rooting process take longer.
On a side, regardless of roots, I would have misted the pictured plants. They are becoming very dehydrated.

Mine still look very fat, so it looks like they still have a lot of water content. I wonder if it might also be that there is a fair bit of humidity in my greenhouse, since they share the greenhouse with my tomatoes, chilis, herbs, and amazonian plants. I do keep the cacti on the other side though, and the door is left open since it is summer. The soil feels dry to the touch as well. I guess I will just have to wait and see.
Those monstrose look really cool. I ordered three monstrose rooted plants last week, and they should be arriving soon. Hopefully they won't arrive broken!
