First grow advice

After getting a few batches of shitty weak street mushrooms, I've decided it would be an awesome experience to try my hand at growing.
I am very uneducated about mushroom growing, but I'm sure i'll be able to catch on quickly. I have been growing Marijuana but have no other growing experience.
I'd guess it would be best to start out with Cubes, but as a beginner grower what are some other species that would suit a beginner best? I kind of want to try growing a different species if it's not much harder, I am able to follow directions. :P

How hard would azurescens be, i'd assume harder.
I've read that people dont grow them because of yield and difficulty but I live in the PNW with winter months already here. Azures really interest me, but I would rather grow cubes if it's that much harder which it probably is.

You can't cultivate azures indoors. Start with cubes. Start doing some research on the PF Tek.

PF Tek, then bulk --- Try working towards a PHD through the forums --
Grow and master cubes, economics of cutting out the shitty verm covered Gteachers your paying 10x or more markup for. Grow mushies you eat, but good cubes are hard to find at walmart. Supplies however, one stop shop - the spores
Best of luck! But if you follow these kickass threads and don't grow on top of trich, you prolly wont need it

I think I speak for most when I say this: Adopt a sterile lifestyle when working with these mushrooms. A lot of patience can be wasted due to contamination. Before you even start thinking about growing mushrooms, adopt a sterile lifestyle, it'll pay dividends and save you from some heartache.

What cubensis should I start out on? There are a lot of different strains that are available for me to chose from. I am looking for the easiest to grow, most potent, and quickest fruiting.

And as a beginner, FOLLOW THE PROVEN TEKS. And most importantly, have fun.

Haha you bet, I am very sterile especially because I like to keep my Marijuana grow as good as possible. I even wear booties when I go inside my tents.

Sounds like you have a good foundation. We should remember, though, that mushrooms are not plants and require us to look at cleanliness from a different vantage point when cultivating them. There a lot of good, intelligent cultivators on these forums that are more than willing to help and guide us newcomers in the right direction. Have fun and be curious!
P.S- The search function, when used properly, works wonders.

I would highly recommend, APE Penis Envy or some type of PE 69 Uncut etc. Be a trend setter, and grow those which are considered to be the chron of cubes. other's are worth while, but if i had to eat one, it's be an APE or Original PE.
Some say they are not the fastest, idk how deep into this I agree but either way there is little evidence here. HOWEVER Potency is almost guaranteed to be greater, this is a hypothesis which is highly supported and mostly agreed upon!
Plus who doesn't love putting a big white penis in their mouth? I know my girl does!
Cheers!
