Hey all it's about 4:03 AM for me, hope you had or going to have a good day! I am in need of an urgent answer so any helpful responses would be much appreciated(preferably someone who has gone through this)!!!!
I have a bridgesii cutting I will be drying (dehydrator) and consuming in powder form! BUT...there's a problem... My cutting has dark spots/"weeping"? I have felt the areas for "mushiness" and they are not that soft, I squeezed the areas a number of times and my fingers did not leave any press marks/dig in. AND in some of the pictures you can see these white spots, again the areas are not too soft and are not mushy, the white stuff are like bumps and there are quite a few of them.. I want to know if I can prep the cutting for consumption and not get sick (is it safe to eat). Pleasee help, I really want to try this cactus for the first time
Pics are posted belowww:

•so safe to eat? NO TEA, just DRYING.
Recap: worried about: black spots(not mushy or soft), white bumps(not soft or mushy), and the grey marks on the bottom(guessing it's just a scar?
Can someone please help! I've tried searching if it's safe to eat or not btw!! Anyone with experience, I'd be very thankful for you're responses! :')

All of those things are a normal part of a cactus' life. None of it is harmful in any way, you can safely murder the cactus and consume it's dying flesh.

Looks fine.
Have fun. I have done bridgesii 3 times now, from 9-12 inches. Simply incredible every time. I want to try taking dramamine before a trip to help the nausea though, as I simply cut the green flesh out and blend it in peanut butter / milk. My trips have all been strong. heavily altered thoughts, euphoria, body buzz, nausea, open eye visuals (skin melting on peoples faces, walls melting/warping a bit) and some closed eye visuals. I read about people using like 20" of bridgesii and can't even imagine that, 11" for me is almost too much, but partly due to the nausea (I've never puked but maybe I should).
Bridgesii is strong to me, but it's also the only psychadelic I've used.
