Fatal temperature?

I know mycelium is very strong stuff, and it would have to go through a lot to be stopped, but I was just wondering..
What temperatures would be fatal to cakes (mycelium or the mushrooms)? My main concern is the fruiting stage.
My room tends to get cold during the winter, and hot during the summer (I guess retard insulation guys messed up my room's insulation) especially if I'm not home for a nice chunk of the day. I am home pretty much every night, so my little guys get good conditions when I get home to take care of them.. But could any extreme temps kill them even if they are brought back to normal?
Thanks for any help.

They're more resilient than you think. 80 degrees is perfect. Any less is typical. Cold only slows them down.

Like 50 though? It's not winter yet, and they've already gotten down to 60

I too am interested in this if anyone could help us out? I live in a desert where it gets 100 summers and below freezing winters.

I believe a Psilocybe cubensis culture will die at approxamitly 106°F, on the low side it can recover after near freezing temps.

Re: Development of Temperature Resistant Varieties of Various Psilocybes
I think it's a mistake to think temperature is the deciding factor in where various species of mushrooms evolved and/or can live. It's one of the factors, but by far the only one. It's not freezing that kills cubensis patches because I've seen prime picking areas in east Texas under several inches of snow and temperatures down to 0F. RR
freezing will burst cell walls and cause damage, it's not ideal. Cubes are tropical I would keep them above 60 but I have stored spawn in a fridge and had no ill effects such as a colonization lag time.
as far as heat it's time dependent. 140F will toast them in a minute or two 120F could take a handful of minutes to do damage and probably would kill if prolonged 110F is not unheard of in areas where cubes fruit like some parts of texas and flordia.

Thanks for the info guys.. Sucks that my room is retarded lol..
Anyway, if anyone still comes by this thread, I was wondering if there is any up to date tek anyone knows for a fruiting chamber that maintains 72-78F? I've seen the TIT one ( tub in tub? ) is that any good? And I'm guessing it has much fewer holes than a SGFC, so how is it with FAE, is it dependent on fanning?
Again, thanks guys, any info is greatly appreciated.

A TiT is an incubator, not a FC

Oh.. Damn. I have a pretty good incubator so that's fine lol.
Anyone know a way to keep a fruiting chamber at a good steady temp?

Make sure the room is comfortable, and the fungi will be comfortable.

Wouldd like to add, It was winter when I started this hobby. I had a SGFC with cakes in the back of my car for 3 days in 30F and below at night
they only flushed once and it took three weeks of healthy temps to get them to that. the mushrooms that eventually grew were small yet very potent. I find 65-75 makes for more dense fruits. The colder, the slower
