Background/Introduction:
Hey guys, so this is my first trip report, and as I have never done this please bear with me if I ramble at points or go into too much depth or am just sounding stupid or confusing. Also as a side note, this was my 3rd and MOST INTENSE trip to date, my previous two trips were each about 1.6 grams, which got me to level 2/2.5. (11/1/13)So the night before the trip I was planning on doing the mushrooms then and I offered to do them with my cousin and her boyfriend but they opted not to and they said they didn't want me to do them because they were a little bit suspicious of them. So with me not doing them that night I decided I would do a solo trip the next morning. The Actual Trip: (11/2/13)I woke up around 5 AM to see how I was feeling, I decided to not do them that morning as I was too tired and really wasn't in the mood. [11/2/13][11:30 AM][T: 0'0"]Now finally for the dose! I dosed at 11:30 AM after I came home from my cousins. I went right upstairs grabbed the mushies, and sat in the middle of the floor deciding how much I would take. Now I didn't have a scale at the time (I'll tell you how I figured out much I took at the end) so I eyeballed what looked to be a little under 3.5 grams (1/8). I ate them all at once and boy did they taste horrible! I ran back downstairs and grabbed some OJ out of my fridge poured a nice big glass and downed it all at once, it helped me get the chunks out and cleansed my mouth of that awful taste. [11/2/13][11:45 AM][T: 0'15"]By now I decided to go upstairs and take a shit and shower. [11/2/13][12:30 PM][T: 1'00"]I was sitting on the couch watching TV when I felt the coming up. I had the tiniest head high, and things were starting to alienate themselves a bit. I grabbed my coat, it was a nice 70 degrees outside and started walking towards wherever I felt I wanted to go. [11/2/13][12:45 PM][T: 1'15"]I ended up at the golf course, the sun was shining very intensely and the ground was starting to manipulate a bit. I headed over to a spot next to the clubhouse and sat on a nice hill in the shade, on my way over this man who was practicing gave me the oddest look, I don't know what it was but I didn't like it. Anyways, after I sat down, I put my music on and started playing some gangster rap, GOD!, it sounded awful, I don't know why but I immediately changed it to some 90's club music and that sounded a lot better. By now, I started trying focus on areas seeing if I was hallucinating yet, and I sure was. I stared at the grass and parts of it were falling down and other parts were rising. Waves were also kind of moving through the grass. I put my hand down on the grass so I could lean back on them and it felt like they were sinking a bit, if I closed my eyes I for sure thought I was being lowered on a platform, then I would open them and I would be completely distorted realizing that I was still at ground level. [11/2/13][1:15 PM][T: 1'45"]By now, after observing some of the trees and grass I decided it was time to walk over to the park and see what was going on there. On my way there I saw one of the strangest hallucinations I have had to date. When I was walking over these leaves that were on the ground it seemed as though I was suddenly 1000 ft. in the air and I was looking down at the ground. I got the sense that I was going really fast, Like I was in an invisible plane looking down, It was breathtaking, it was beautiful I don't know how to explain it to this day. Anyways after making circles in the leaves (and I'm almost certain I was getting a few dirty looks from some golfers on the course) I managed to get over to the park. [11/2/13][1:30 PM][T: 2'00"]When I arrived at the park and found a nice little, secluded table off the path, next to the lake it felt like it had been two hours since I had first sat down at the golf course when in reality it had been only about ~35 minutes. At this point I realized time was gone for me and that meant it was going to be a very intense trip. I sat there for 5 minutes on that bench realizing that things were kind of slowing down around me. The sun seemed so intense. I decided to get up and take a lap around the lake. [11/2/13][1:35 PM][T: 2'05"]Once I got up I knew I was in for a ride, I didn't have a any sunglasses so some probably knew I was tripping, but that didn't stop me. Along my walk I was waving to everybody and smiling at everyone (Not my normal behavior), I guess I was just in the mood to do it. Then, at a point I saw this old man, he was just sitting there and after I waved back to him, he smiled and waved back and asked me how it was going. We had a nice little 20 sec conversation and my mind started making the connection how most of the young people I smiled at would do nothing or give me an odd look but most of the old people would return it. I thought how the older generations were so friendly and what was becoming of humanity and why don't people interact as much as they used to, and is it because of technology, or do people just change? On the visual side of the walk I remember looking a little bit down the path and it would just keep getting longer (like it would in a cheesy 80's horror movie) and then after walking for a bit it would kind of "teleport" me to the end of the section I was overlooking. |To Give you guys an idea of my position: I started on the North-East Corner of the lake, the highway is to the North of the lake (directly next to it) and the golf course is just on the other side of the highway (the highway is the border)| [11/2/13][1:45 PM][T: 2'15"]I checked my watch and still that time effect was in place because after 10 minutes of walking it still seemed like hours. Not to mention the fact that the ground was still doing the same up and down, wave, pattern thing like the grass. Actually it seemed kind of like ripples now. But once I made it to the East side of the lake I stood on the path and took a glance at the lake. OMG! The lake looked like it was hand drawn. It barely even looked like it was moving, there was hardly any depth to it and there was almost no color gradient it seemed like it was almost all blue with black outlines on some of the ripples. I tried to ignore that because it made me feel weird almost like I wanted to jump in and feel it. [11/2/13][1:55 PM][T: 2'25"]By almost 2:00 PM I was back at the table I had originally sat down at in the North-East Corner of The Park. The park was starting to depress me a little bit, I was sad for all the leaves falling off the trees and for that old man with how friendly he was yet no one was with him, at one point I was thinking about going back there and sitting with him to chat. Anyways, the visuals were starting to get very intense now, I looked down at the park table and it was a stainless steel table that was coated in a green protective layer but there was a part where that layer was peeled away. I looked deeper at it and it started to change colors! At first I could pick a color for it to change to but then it just started to change every color and it would rainbow sometimes, like I was at a rave. My music contributed to the intensity (I'll post some of the songs I was listening to at the end). It made me feel awesome, I felt very euphoric and exited (exited, nothing in particular though). I also began to examine the trees, there were some trees with red trunks and leaves, orange, all the colors of fall. It looked like I was in a fairy kingdom or some fantasy land. Like Dr. Seuss maybe? It was very weird yet very visually entertaining. Then all of a sudden this man and what seemed to be his terminally ill father. God, that was one of the best moments of the trip. They sat down, they glanced over at me, said hi, and then sat on the side of the bench facing the lake, (BTW they were at the same 4 person table as me) they just sat there and I had my headphones in so I didn't know what they were saying. They sat together and just stared out into the lake, the son put his arm around the dad, and the dad put his arm around the sons hip. It was so incredible, I almost teared up from what I was seeing. It was the saddest yet happiest moment I have ever witnessed. I decided to leave them in peace and I quietly said "bye" to them. And they both waved at me. [11/2/13][2:10 PM][T: 2'40"]I went back to the golf course and when I jumped the fence to get in it was so much greener than the park looked. To me it seemed the highway was a boundary between life and near death. Everything in the park was dying: the grass, the leaves, the plants. But at the golf course it was mostly evergreens and grass which made the place have a much better energy and look very awesome. I passed over the dead leaves and had that same visual that I had earlier, SO WEIRD. I found a nice little hill in the "junior course" at the course (was closed for the season, a place where kids could play golf). My peak it seemed hit me around this moment. I laid down and everything seemed so intense. My Music sounded really "wide" and the sun seemed super intense. I looked to the North and the trees and the snow there reminded me kind of Alaska, IDK why but it just seemed like it was Alaska over there. I looked to the south (The Park and Highway) and it looked so ugly and I was glad that I was at the golf course with the luscious green grass. [11/2/13][2:30 PM][T: 3'00"]By now time wasn't even a reality for me anymore, in that 20 minutes it felt like I had been tripping for days and I had gathered so much knowledge yet there was so much to learn about. I laid down and looked up, on the edge of my vision were the trees and they were swaying A LOT, well, they were breathing it looked like they might de-root. The clouds could take on any formation I wanted them to, everything was breathing, the ground, plants, trees, even the sky somewhat. I also explored some CEVs and found that my OEVs where much better, the CEVs consisted mostly of just repeating patterns and "traditional psychedelic" visuals. I started thinking about the mushrooms more and it occurred to me, "Are mushrooms poison" They cause you to get all these crazy visuals and emotions, but is that punishment for eating them, is it meant to disorient you? I took that and my mind expanded into all sorts of directions like, why do people do drugs? But drugs give us experiences and experiences are priceless. So then should everybody do drugs? But some drugs kill people, so if we do drugs to gain experiences but some people die then is death the ultimate experience? I had some other pretty ridiculous thoughts like that thought. But for the most part it was all pretty enlightening. I also started to think about the point of life, man I learned my lesson, never go there while tripping. I couldn't think of a point so I assumed there was no point and that once I die, I am nothing and that nothing I ever did matters. But then I thought if I did something great that it would matter. Anyways, you guys probably get the point, just this endless cycle of awe and breathlessness. I just kind of sat there doing this for about 1 1/2 hours which kind of made me feel like a monk or something like that, I stared at the breathing trees and the moving ground. BTW that one hour felt like an entire day. Oh and one other thing, other one of my most intense visuals occurred here, after about a 5 minute session of doing that "deep thinking" I was closing my eyes and I opened them and EVERYTHING within 20 feet was PIXELATED! It only lasted for about 15 seconds before fading but god that was SO Trippy. It was also kind of scary not being able to see or thinking that my eyes had been damaged. [11/2/13][4:00 PM][T: 4'30"]I started walking back to my house with that "cheesy horror movie effect", that is the ground seemed to keep getting longer and then I would all of a sudden be at a destination. On my way walking back to my house I saw this yellow tree, boy was that the coolest tree I have ever seen. It seemed like there were DOZENS of animals on it, there were birds circling it, it made me think it was kind of like "a mother tree." Also, if I looked ahead the ground was super wonky, the sidewalk was twisting, turning, moving up and down, it looked like I was going to be walking on a roller coaster. [11/2/13][4:10 PM][T: 4'40"]I arrived home and I looked at my watch, I had my "Chrono Timer" running at the time which was very similar to the actual time (I used it to log my trip for future reference) and at the point I got so confused I didn't know what the real time was, Lol. I headed up stairs to the bedroom and I laid down trying to do some more of that deep thinking and listening to my music which sounded AWESOME. After laying there I realized I was starting to come down because my music and some visuals started getting less intense. [11/2/13][4:30 PM][T: 5'00"]I headed downstairs to get some food, I had never experienced food before on a trip, so I took it lightly and made myself a nice toasted bagel. I looked out the window and saw the grass, it was weird because it was such a deep green and all the colors around it were kind of faded/washed. That green was just so luscious. After making my bagel I went out to my front porch where I sat and ate. I saw a car pull up across the street and it was an unmarked nice SUV. MY first thought was undercover cop so I watched it and almost perfectly as I stood up to put my plate in the sink it drove off which made me super paranoid that the cops knew and that I was going to get arrested, lol. I also happened to look at both ends of my street, everything within 100 yards of me was normal but past that things were going crazy, kind of like everything was built on the tail of an animal and it was shaking its tail. The sidewalk, trees, and street were all flopping around and going crazy, it was pretty awesome. Oh BTW, the food tasted weird, it felt really thick and it was kinda weird, probably won't do it again. [11/2/13][4:55 PM][T: 5'25"]I headed inside and turned on the TV to find that Adventure Time was on. My friends all said it was really fun to watch Adventure Time while tripping so I figured I would give it a try. Lone behold, Adventure Time confused the hell out of my and my face was just in shock the whole time with my mind just saying "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?" I watched a couple of episodes of Adventure Time and then some South Park. [11/2/13][6:30 PM][T: 7'00"]I went to my bed listened to music and YouTube videos and passed out. I got about 10 hours of sleep that night. Reflection/Post-Trip: -I would call it my best trip to date, I was very pleased I did not get any unpleasant side-effects like nausea or headaches. -I actually was able to figure out that I had 2.6 grams because I got a scale later and figured out what I had ate from my stash. -My stomach had been empty for at least 15 hours which is why I think the visuals became so intense. -Also another theory I have is that the "placebo effect" actually happened on me, when I eyeballed the amount I had thought I had taken 1/8 of mushrooms when in fact I took around 2/3 that amount. I think it might have tricked me into thinking I was going to have a more intense experience and weird things like this have been known to happen. I would recommend it to someone if you are not concerned about being exact with your dosage. -Also, does taking a shit right after you dose effect your experience, how fast do mushrooms digest? -Overall, this was very enlightening and it something I will never forget. I hope you guys enjoyed! Peace! -Roller PS Feel Free To say anything in the comments.

Woo!
These are the kinds of trip reports I like to read. I appreciete it when the authors take the time to pay attention to sentance mechanics, and actually describe the experience, and I especially like it when they make the report flow like a narrative. Great read! Sounded like a very nice and fulfilling experience. -I think the intensity of the trip sounded like what I typically get from a 2.5ish gram dose. -I don't know how long mushrooms take to digest. Anywhere from 20-40 minutes maybe? ![]() -Also, I like to poop before I start trippin. Taking a shit while tripping is weird.

Quote: Thanks I really appreciate the comment! And I will have to try to take a shit near the peak or on the come down. And thank you, I did try to go into as much depth as possible because I like detailed reads.
