Gaining weight.

So in the last 2 months or so I've gained a bit of weight. Probably 15 pounds give or take a few. I can't really figure out why though. I lost my job in early September but it wasn't a physically strenuous job at all so I can't really see it being that.
Since I've been home I've been eating a lot healthier, no fast food at all, nice, balanced, home cooked meals every day. Where as before I wouldn't have time and constantly grab a mcburger or a pizza. Also I was forced to quit smoking pot about 7 weeks ago. I wouldn't call myself overweight but to go from 155 to 170 I can definitely see the difference and I don't like it.
I need to figure out what is causing the gain. I've heard pot can increase metabolism but can't find any good sources to back it up. I'm about to start dieting but really don't know how to. I eat healthy foods in portions that aren't really big.
I just don't want to let it get out of hand, all the sudden be like 200 pounds and saying wtf. Any ideas as to why I might be gaining while eating healthier and still doing pretty much the same amount of activity? I'm going to have to look into dieting and hitting the gym or something.

Even so, eating too much 'healthy' food can cause weight gain.
Calories in vs Calories out.

Yea I'll have to start counting them I guess. Just weird to gain when I went from eating a double quarter pounder meal for lunch and and a pizza for dinner to eating a ham sandwich for lunch and tilapia, couscous and green beans for dinner. Maybe I'll just go back to eating shit food.

I would still consider starting gym and lifting weights whichever direction you take with your diet.

Are you eating alot of Nori, and spinach and cod? They all contain the ... pre... like 5hpt to seretonin.. bad english...
these hormones will alter you metabolism and make you ingest and absorb more of the nutrients...
letichins also bind fat for that matter... which is in alot of mediumgrade chocolates ect..
-------------------- And thus begins the reverse-fusing of our one-dimentional understanding, and adds ever-expanding perspectives, in depth and number; splitting our perception, and in so doing, seemingly irrationally, creates yet more one-ness, with all that ever was, is and will ever be, streching across the infinite, inunderstood concept of everything, percievable and not.

Isn't quitting smoking supposed to make you gain weight?
