I was wondering if it would be more beneficial to inoculate more grain jars with the LC from the multi spore syringe, or to make a new LC using this TEK:

Taking a biopsy of the biggest and healthiest looking mushroom?
Thoughts?

Inoculating the jars with the spores and skipping the useless/risky step of making an LC would be the best option honestly.

If you knock up 10 grain jars now and G2G them out, AND make an LC, you would have 100 grain jars fully colonized and ready to go by the time the LC is ready and tested, and then you would still have to wait for the grains to colonize, granted the LC was clean.

LC is never the best option for cubes, especially when talking about making an LC from spores...no spore syringe is ever 100% clean, and LC is the perfect breeding ground for everything not mycellium....hence why it is so sketchy.

The only LC I would trust would be an LC made from a clean agar wedge.....

Thanks for the input.  I will do some searching, but do you have a TEK in mind ?

Here is some reading material for the time beeing. you should make spore syringes from prints to keep your cultivation rolling around until you feel like getting into agar.

Yeah I am not ready to get into agar with it being my first grow.  I have actually done G2G once in my SAB and been successful.  So I guess my question now would be does anyone have any tek suggestions for inoculating a jar using spores from a fresh mushroom.  I've seen ones on how to make a spore syringe from a spore print .  Is the first step to make a spore print?

EDIT: Also using spores from what I have growing right now would be more beneficial then using a multi spore syringe I got online and/or a LC made from a multi spore syringe?

agar is easy and really helps you get better at sterile tek

spore syringes come from a spore print you'll have to print a cap to get the spores. RR has a good video in the let's grow mushroom series.

spores that you print from mushrooms you grow are the exact same as ones you would get from a vendor you just have to be pretty clean about it but trust me it's not that hard if you follow the directions.

I would advice to skip a LC all together
Click that and read through there.

Look up grocery store agar tek.  I have used the LC cloning tek you are talking about with some success.  I am not going to poo poo LC.  They had their uses for me but they become obsolete and undesirable after you learn agar.  The number one reason for my preference is relative certainty of having a clean culture versus crap shoot in a bottle.  Second reason is I hate making syringes.  It is a pain in The ass.  FYI spores to agar and spores to LC are equally capable of contaminating.  The differences are these: on agar you can transfer away form the problem, LC you can't do that so easily.  I know you are new but go from first grow to playing with the big boys.  So clone your fruits.  In a week you potentially could inoculate grain with your clones.  Though I suggest three transfer away from the original.
