Your new one is most likely a cuzcoensis with cut spines

I got it from a reliable vendor. Is there any way of differentiating the two with cut spines? Or do I have to wait until they grow out? I got it from the most reliable source I know of, hoping its really T. Peruvian but we shall see. I got a Pachanoi on the way too

Cuzcos are sometimes grouped as a subspecies of peruvianus.
The round bumpy ridges and tapered top seem to indicate cuzco. Ueres a side by side example of my cuzco next to my peruvianus (just imagine the one on the left w/o spines):

Heres another pic of the same cuzco plant before getting sun:

Looks pretty similar to yours, no?
