LSD - My epiphanies

So I am FINALLY FUCKING DOWN!!!! thank GOD!!!
Holy fuck taking acid just on a whim is such a bad fucking idea. From now on I am going to do it alone and meditate every time.
I like psychedelics because they make you view yourself from a completely unbiased viewpoint. If you have been partaking in self destructive behavior psychedelics force you to confront the root causes of these discrepancies.
I made a list of all the things i need to change in my life to become a better person. I will share some of the less personal details with you:
don't overconsume don't ignore sunlight don't drink often sleep regularly create things love everyone smoke weed when you can do it TODAY Eat only what comes from the Earth naturally
I think that if i follow these things my life should be significantly improved! Sometimes you gotta have a hard trip, they are the most important.

Can someone who has tripping experience weigh in on this. This was a really hard trip.
They say not to do psychs when you're in a bad mindset, but I think that is the only time to do them.

The only time? So if your in a good mindset with some bodies, you're not willing to trip? Interesting

No i don't REALLY mean the only time. But I think that they are valuable tools to explore yourself with. When you're in a shitty mindset you are usually ignoring something about yourself. The acid FORCED me to look at myself completely honestly.
Antidepressants are bandaids. Psychedelics are cures, if you follow through.

I understand man. I've learned a lot about myself when I've had similar tough trips. The drugs make you get in contact with things you have to change in your life, sometimes it can be hard to accept or very easy.

Yeah dude, bad trips are almost always the most productive. A really fucking good trip in the best frame of mind that leaves you glowing in Nirvana for weeks afterward and making the same vows to be a better person is not to be discounted though, they're just a lot more rare.

Uhh seems like you really figured out a lot of good things, and started to learn how to crack open the 'godhead' of collective human subconscious and remember what you already know (but have just forgotten)! This is the goal of LSD, this is how you learn from it.
Even though I'll tell you, taking psychedelics on a whim can be fun and burn you out ina trippy way, but you'll not gain nearly as much if you don't treat them as sacrament, and not find yourselves contacting that world on accident to often unless it was supposed to happen.
Even if you had a slightly negative trip, positive changes and reflections on your life is what you're looking for, in a self-thereapeutic way.
