Only a few mushrooms are growing, i thought i would of had alot more than what i have now. I kept the bags zipped all the way in hopes of raising humidity levels. Do you think i should unzip the bags slightly to let air in?

I think you shoulda rolled them in verm if you wanted to leave them as cakes. If you were going to crush'em up and put'em in a tray, i wouldn't layer them with sub, i would just mix it all up together. Case if you feel like it.
This is not based on any personal experience, just what i've read and would do myself.
Good luck man

Well its probably too late now to do that with this grow. I think if i did that now i would just be crushing up potential mushrooms.

Honestly, from what I have read. If I were you.
I'd pick any pins. Maybe transfer them to agar or eat em if they're safe.
Dunk those cakes again.
Roll them in verm.
Put em in a SGFC.
Give em 12/12 light cycle. Mist & fan twice daily.
Watch the cakes grow properly.

..don't listen to this guy. OP was right, this would harm your fruiting potential.
The fungus would waste a ton of energy recovering from being broken up. Especially since it has already fruited.

my bad. I figured the loss of the micro climate was the worst of the evils. I stand corrected.
edit: ...broken up? I did not tell him to break them up...only to roll them in verm after the first flush was over, because they're naked.

Im probably going to harvest these Tuesday morning. Then im going to duck and roll. I see some pins growing but I think the pins will be ok if I do that. The last pics that ill post on this thread will just be the combined amount of this first flush and the second one.

I wouldn't harvest them till the veils are about to break, or just break. You can harvest them as they're ready....you don't have to pluck the whole cake. SOme just cut the caps off the mature ones while the immature ones finish, then take them all.
Normally, you don't roll them in verm after the first flush, but because you have no verm on them now..i would. You only have to roll them once, so if on your next grow, you roll them after the 24hr dunk, you don't have to do it again. One roll in verm is fine.
Putting verm on a BRF cake is like putting on a winter jacket when you go out in the winter....it just makes you feel better, and keeps you happy

Thanks ill keep this and everyone elses advice and suggestions that posted in this thread in mind for my next grow. Hopefully it will be a more successful one since im getting more experience. And i might just eat the first flush before the second one finishes cause i don't want too wait that long to trip.So i hope i have enough to feel some effect.
