What'd I do wrong?

So, this is my first run of birdseed; (in which I didn't accidentally over cook the crap out of the seed) and, it's been over a week and I still see no signs that my spores germinated. I even (carefully) tumbled one of the jars around to see if the mycelium was just all in the middle, and nothing .
I followed Frank's WBS tek; and I'm pretty sure (with one minor exception) I followed it to the T. I soaked the WBS for 24 hours with 1 pint of fresh coffee, then brought the water to a good simmer, over low heat, stirring frequently. After that I drained my grains in the sink, and laid them out to dry for a couple hours. Finally I pressure cooked them at 15 psi for one hour. The only thing I left out was gypsum, as I had none on hand.
A couple days later I inoculated them on the 11/25 with a few drops of spore solution each I did shake the jars after inoculating (Should I have not done this?) as I swore I've read somewhere that it was ok. I've been letting the jars sit since them relatively undisturbed (I checked them a couple times) until today. I still haven't messed with most of them so who knows, I din't want to screw them up if they were fine.
Only thing I can think of is maybe my syringes are too old but even that I doubt because they aren't even a year old, in my possession at least. I would take pictures to show you; but that's kind of the problem, there is nothing to take a picture of.
TL;DR My spores won't germinate after following FrankHorrigan's tek for WBS.
So what do you guys think the problem might be? Any suggestions or solutions? Should I try re-inoculating them?

I've had this same issue before. I'd have some jars start up in 2-3 days while others take 2-3 weeks, or never germinate.
Personally, I think it's the quality of my spore syringes. Ones that I buy never work as good as the ones I make. I just inoculated 10 jars last night with spores from a new vendor. Supposedly, this is the most reputable vendor for this site. We'll see how they work out.
I gave up on WBS. Straight organic rye for me from now on.
I've read that even if you take perfect procedures, that the jar is never 100% sterile. So if you were to re-inoculate them, the contams that made their way in already have a week or two head start on the spores. So I'd advise against that.

you should not have shaken, that may not be your issue but it doesn't help. spores need to find eachother to germinate

First off a week is nothing in this hobby. I have had plates take longer than that. Second IMO/IME grains are not the easiest thing for spores to germinate on. Many times while I when I used ms solution used on grains I would also inoculate a plate. I regularly saw good growth on the plate, well before the grains. Sometimes I would have made my transfers to ensure clean inoculate and nocked up jars with wedges before the original grains would even show growth. So first off I say be patient, and second, start looking into agar. Its far more reliable and you see better results.
