He needs some extra credit but has to study for finals as well, so I'm gonna give him a hand.
What would be easier to write about: Business Applications of Data Mining, or How RFID can enhance Supply Chain Management?

I guess people make worse decisions, but is that really something that sounds like a good idea?

Both are ridiculously easy topics for a bachelor or master level course paper. But the RFID one is more specific, so you can pull that one off without spending much time on scoping.

He said he didn't necessarily need the 2% extra credit, but that it would help immensely. This is my absolute best friend. It sounds like a fine idea to me.

I've writen papers for friends before. Sounds like the guy is already studying for finals and working hard. Why not. I know I'd appreciate it if a buddy helped me so close to finals.

I've written papers, taken finals, done research, done homework, pretty much everything for people. It all depends on the person, how much free time I have, and possible compensation.
What style do business classes write in? The business classes I took were never above 200 level, and didn't need specific formats.

I recall a student of mine asked this question right before I was about to introduce French lessons to the class. He got up off his chair & everyone in the class eyed him as he walked to the front to ask me this.
I would say that the first one you mentioned would be most advisable.

Just knocked out a pretty damn high quality 6 page paper in about four hours. It almost makes me wish I was still in college
