Sounds good to me. I mix it with verm and peat, this makes the shit nice and fluffy, so the mycelium runs through it nicely

i just checked it again i wouldnt say its black dirt. its a dark brown color. and it may resemble dirt at first glance but theres a lot of digested plant fibres in it too and bits some long bits of straw and stuff. i wish i had a camera

Give it a shot. Than you will def know. That Seven Year Gold looks like black dirt and that works great! Just make sure you pasturize it properly.

I would give it a shot. make sure to bring it to field capacity.
I bought a big bag of compost manure from ace and used them in flowerpots outdoors and got a few fruits off of spent cakes.
I ahvent tried spawning fresh colonized grain to it but I intend on doing so pretty soon.
The flowerpot grew a few grams and I didnot prepare the compost manure at all. I just used it straight out the bag
I have read on here that it is not preferable but it will still produce it prepared properly.

I gotta get me some compost, I'm kinda sketched out about using field aged horse shit, also I heard you can substitute worm castings for hpoo, so I'm going to add some of that too for my casing.

Sounds like failure waiting to happen, search what a casing is first, I guarantee you will see the word "non-nutritious" allot and for good reason, or did you mean substrate not casing?
