Oh man it is not looking good. It lost another one of its last leaves and was leaning over when i checked on it.. It does not look happy at all. Its now officially lost more than half its leaves and only has 3 left... Im not sure how much of a chance it has anymore.

Yeah i noticed
Maybe the humidity tent was a bit too late already and the damage was already done. But ill keep it up and see how long it lasts, maybe i will get lucky.
Ill try again eventually though i would love to own this species.

Damn dude I must admit I am dying to get my hands on it myself... I ordered seeds that were discounted because they were getting close to their viability expiration date which is incredibly short. (4 Weeks) Anyway I am trying to germinate them about 1 week in and I'm not very hopeful they don't look too good. I think they may have just been a little too old plus my heating mat is a piece of shit.

That's right. In the previous pics you posted, it was already clear that it would loose those leaves. Make sure the humidity stays high. The bag will also counter evaporation from the soil, so you won't have to water that often. I personally also don't 'air' seedlings that often, so I'd only remove the bag once every few days to check for mold etc.

Well its not dead yet... Ive been keeping the humidity bag on it almost full time.
Two of the last three leaves, the tips of the leaves look dead and shriveled, and slight yellowing... it looks slightly worse than right after the leaves fell off 5 days ago. Im not going to give up on the little guy but do you guys think it has any chance of recovering after losing so many leaves?
Its been terrible watching it slowly die on me

Up to 4 leafs now and it hasnt gotten any worse so im thinking pretty positive here.
Its held on for the last 20 days and turned around and gained a leaf so i think it still has a decent chance

Its a good thing it gained one cause I have had healthy novos start losing and never recover only to keel over.

I just started reading this thread and around the top of the second page I started to tear up just thinking that this beautiful little seedling could easily die at any time but hearing that it's holding on to life so well and producing leaves basically turns on the light at the end of the tunnel. Great job Oregon and I'll pray to the Ethnobotanical God for you and your little baby. Keep up the good work and I'll be watching to see how it works out.
