panaeolus tropicalis question

I did some searching, but could not find a detailed answer to what I am looking for that wasn't outdated or not really what I wanted.
Does anyone have any experience with panaeolus tropicalis?
I am looking for detailed information about cultivation of this species. Things I am looking for are:
1. mycelium growth and morphology 2. grain vs brf 3. bulk w/ or w/o casing 4. spawning techniques 5. fruting techniques and times
Thanks ahead of time. Cheers!

Look for grow logs. It grows just like any other Pan.

the mycelium is whispy grains are your best bet, you will want about a 2 inch sub depth with a 1/4 inch casing layer and i wouldn't wait five days after casing maybe one or 2 tops because it's a thin casing layer, i prefer trays in a sgfc for any pan species

Thank you. When you say wispy, do you mean more cobweb-like and no bracketing?
Also, I have heard do and don't shake grains. Anyone know the real answer?

they can handle a shake but not as well as more hardy species like cubes, if your starting from a syringe i just go for a 360 inoculation with a streak across the top and don't really ever need to shake, there pretty quick colonizers anyway, and yes by whispy i mean more cottony then cubes

Here's a year old thread of mine, with some pictures, it might help. cronicr sumed it up pretty well, only difference after casing I don't wait, but fruit it immediately. I have a few mature fruit pictures, I should update that thread...

Thank you everyone.
A bit nervous to start p. tropicalis (or any pan) as I have only grown cubes indoors but am also excited to try something new.

OK, yeah I know.... "Photos or it didn't happen"...
Well it happened:

1. When to pick fruits? 2. Should I re-dunk?
The cake is easily bruisable, but as long as I am careful it seems to bounce back.

I'd wait till the morning, and see if they start produce spores, because it looks like that so far they aren't. It happens with first flushes pretty often with Panaeolus species though.
