Dull orange on grain spawn

So I finished all my g2g transfers a few days ago with the exception of one jar. The jar was showing no signs of contams until today. It was fully colonized at least 3-4 days ago. However, now it is showing a dull orange growth on top. Should I just toss the last jar?

I have been busy with work and didn't have time to expand the last jar.

Hard to tell if it's a contam. Looks like metabolites for the most part.

That mycelium looks terribly unhealthy, way too thick and puffy. I'm gonna say contaminated with bacteria

It's honestly hard to even tell what I'm looking at. But like frank said that Myc in itself don't look right. Try taking a pic of the hole jar itself also, no need to focus on the orange, as it looks in general no bueno regardless of the orange. But the pic is a lil out of focus. Or maybe it's me being on my phone.

Give it a smell after you break it up but before you use it.
The sides look a little better but the top looks like hell. I still think you've got a problem

I might just give it a shake and see if it recovers. If not, I will just toss it. All the other jars that I used for G2G smelled fine and the transfers are looking good. I thought it could possibly be metabolites because I left it sitting too long. It was injected with 2ml of blue oyster multi-spore syringe.

It def. doesn't look quite right. The smell test would reveal all.
bingo. It's not cube myc.

i was gonna say, that looks alot like oyster mycelium....then i saw the post. in that case, id proly lean more towards metabolites. the myc itself looks normal for oysters.

I thought I just might be being paranoid. Got the PC running now. Plan on G2G once they cool. Thanks for the help. Next time, I will be sure to clarify first.
