so after the rye jars are fully colonized, I mix it with coir or peat then add a top layer of verm, then cover and let it colonize for another week?? Correct or incorrect??

not quite

start here
these links will help

You're going to want to pasteurize the coir
coir prep
this is how to make the coir you'll spawn the rye to.

cubensis don't need a casing layer but some people do. I would skip it this time and experiment with it once you get a few grows under your belt

spawning to bulk

In my expirience casing greatly increased the yeild.. i cased a brf cake following frankhorrigans tek and got 15g dry first flush, after drying and cleaning. i havent cased grain yet but have a pound bag of it almost colonized..

..but if you have a bunch of jars colonized you would be better off spawning in a mono..
