yes they speak like that. no australians drink fosters they all drink castlemane.

also most australians are gambling addicts. alot of them are crazy as well espescially ones with names like joey rainbow or billy sunshine. they tend to do things like speak in tongues, jump off cliffs and push irene down the stairs.

sorry we get alot of aussie soap operas here.

LOL. I'm Australian and I don't think I have every heard anyone say "aye" for yes. We do say "no worries" and "mate" a lot though. I even say "no worries, mate". Some of us drink Fosters, and I have never heard of Castlemaine! I drink Tooheys Old. Jumping off cliffs is my favourite past time preferably at the same time speaking in tongues having made a bet on the outcome.

I can't believe they market 'home and away' to any country outside oceania.

Man, 'mate', 'no worries', 'gidday' and 'bugger' are all oceanic words. I thought 'struth!', 'arvo' and 'fairdinkum!' were more australian.

Enotake you must have never been outside of Melbourne.
Everyone in the country says "ay" at the end of just about every sentence. Rural people tend to use alot more traditionally Aussie slang than city people.
I've never seen any AUSTRALIAN drink Fosters, it's the crappy tourist drink. VB is the best of our cheaper beers.
"Mate" and "bugger" are pretty much British words.
What about "onya mate", "dag"  "tracky dacks" "grouse", "she'll be right" "shit house."

Joey Rainbow... that's funny.
