From spawn bag to mono tub

I have searched and searched and can't find any previous post about the process of taking a fully colonized spawn bag and transferring it to a tub grow. I have a 2.5 lb 5 grain spawn bag I inoculated with 3 cc of Cambodian spores and a 2.5 lb 5 grain bag I inoculated with 3 cc of MDK. The bags are starting to see white myc running through the grains. I want to be able to take a fully colonized bag and transfer it to a tub for a bigger yield but I am not sure what I need to do to make this happen. What supplies will be needed and what are the step by step instructions to complete the process? I appreciate the feedback and time to help out. I'll post pics along the way

Hi!
Spawning to bulk in a monotub
Just replace the jars in my write up with your bag and you will be good to go. I only use spawn bags these days
Feel free to consult my links in my signature, I have a lot of threads that will help you have a great grow

this is what you need. one of those fully colonized bags should work in his tek in place of the 4-7 quarts of spawn.

if you would like to know my opinion (2) 2.5lbs bags is prolly enough spawn to start two tubs. with that said there is a vendor named out-grow (out-grow.com) they make the compost mixes you might want to fullfill the next stage of your grow via pre-packaged and pasturized to your front door horse manure or coir compost. It is a great trade to learn the ability to create these mixes and impliment them with your spawn material and make a bulk substrate and should be known there could be a great amount of trial and error involved so you might consider for one tub going with a professional made compost shipped to you and the other tub, use your mix that you made and will be practicing to use in your future grows. Just in case you dont round up all the supplies you need or fully understand something before your spawn is ready, there is a good chance you will still produce mushrooms on your first time using out-grows products.

Yeah my plan was to do 2 tubs one tub per spawn bag. Thanks I'm going to check out that company you suggested. I had found a company online I was going to order two 5 lb casing mix bags from. They have it pre made containing coco coir, vermiculite, hydrated lime, and gypsum. Your thoughts on this mix?
What size tubs do you suggest I buy with the amount of colonized grains and substrate I would be using? Each tub would have a total of 7.5 lbs of mix (spawn & substrate).

Frank what size tubs should I buy if I'm using 2.5 lbs of spawn and 5 lbs of sub? Is 66 qt too big?

Here's a pic of one of my spawn bags. I mixed the spawn with casing in a mono tub a few days ago. I'll post pics when it starts pinning.

Tubs are looking good but no pins as of yet.
