Just curious if these are decent. I'm lookin to order cause I'm without a vehicle ATM and it'd just be easier than Tryna find a ride. I have amazon prime so free shipping. Wondering if these will do and which brand over the other possibly
These were both seemingly the best deals on 40lbs.

18 dollars at walmart for a 40lb bag. Morning Song: Year Round
It's kind of grimy but cheap and available all year. There are probably better options if you don't like wal mart you just have to look. If you're in an urban area a "pet bird" store can order you shit or your local hardware stores can as well if you don't want to pay shipping
edit - I wouldn't pay more than the low 20's for a 40 pound bag. And it would have to be pretty clean for me to pay more than 20
I'd just go with the morning song

Avoid those who have too much cracked corn in them... can be seen easily if they are see through
Local supermarket brand works usually, just get the cracked corn etc out (happens when you rinse it anyway..)
Seems there is no anti-mold thing in(or it will be explicitly written), just make sure to get right moisture without right moisture you will never get them growing
rinse, simmer, rinse , the simmer is the important part to get right moisture IME (docs tek works good and in this way)
sunflower seeds dont have to be removed

like i said transportation is an issue for me. closest walmart is proly like 5 miles. not bad, but im without a ridee. i always got my grain from amazon. but at 41 dollars for 50 lbs, im lookin to switch to wbs.
not sure what i would say to whomever gave me a ride when i come out with a big old sack of bird seed. lol
i have a pet food store a few blocks away, but they are pretty pricey. id imagine they would be even more than most places.
just curious, how much do you get it for?

Yea if you're not paying shipping you're good to go. Exact same thing except it comes with a white plastic on the edges instead of the clear. Or perhaps that is a picture of very old packaging, or walmart gets unique packaging. Either way it's Morning Song: Year Round
Like most WBS I have had you will find some random shit, and you're bound to find a little corn in there a few twigs too. I pick out maybe one kernel every 20 jars I do.
It seems to be the most popular brand, if I remember correctly it was by far the most commonly suggested when I started looking. Can't go wrong with cubes.

I've always used Pennington WBS. No cracked corn. 18 bucks for a 40lb bag at Wally World. They also carry a brand that just has cardinal on it an says economy mix. I've only seen that in 20lb bags. But it comes out to about the same price

^^^^^^^ What he said. My walmart sometimes has the 40lb economy stuff too for around $16. Just about any WBS will work, but try to get the type with the smallest amount of cracked corn and black oil sunflower seeds as you can.
