Questions about Edible LC syringes

Hi All,
I have been lurking here for some time now. Love this site!
As of late, edibles have peaked my interest. I know that the best way to begin growing edibles is to obtain a master slant, but the price point is out of my reach currently. As an alternative I ordered some LC syringes (Pleurotus eryngii, Pleurotus ostreatus, & Pholiota nameko) from a dealer I found on this site.
My question is, can I inoculate grain jars and expand? Could this be successful in achieving acceptable BE? I am aware of the multitude of variables that may affect the results, but I want to avoid senescence and I am left wondering about the viability of the LC syringes.
Alternatively, maybe it would be better to just conjugate the necessary substrate and utilize the syringes as a "one-off" use?
Obviously I would prefer the former, but I want to ensure I am making the most out of the LC syringes, while avoiding senescence.
Any thoughts or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I expand to grain. I usually put a drop of LC on agar and then agar to grain, grain to grain, grain to sawdust.
Works fine.

Thanks Liam!
I am not equipped to do agar just yet. No flow hood etc. With that being said, I think Ill just start with some quart jars of grains and inject a small amount of LC into them. Maybe expand once more. That was my initial plan. I got to over-thinking the situation.

Yeah that's a good way to start
No need to overthink. I didn't try agar until after many grows. LC syringes are cheap enough you can play around a lot before bothering to learn agar and save your cultures. With stuff like oysters, all you need is a few drops and you can make a syringe go a long way.
