Weed cartel at work

This is quite funny actually, i work at a company in ireland where the sales of weed is pretty much an open and accepted thing, which is great.
But the prices these people are pushing onto others with preconceptions such as "it is really strong stuff" "its the best you can get here" and so on makes it a bit unbearable.
Because when i see people pay more per gram for weed than what gold actually costs it makes me wonder how the people selling this shit can actually justify it for themselves.
The absolute greed, they are the most happy when people come crawling to them begging.
I used to be a friend to these guys, but when i stopped smoked and started pointing out to them and others what ridiculous prices they where asking for some grass i got completely shunned(which is actually a good thing).
they charge 12.8£ per gram and i know that you can get it for 3£ per gram.
thats a nifty profit that you get for ripping off your so called friends, don't you think?

Profit is not a dirty word. If they want it for £3 per gram then they can buy it in bulk and go source it.
Simple business.

Profit is not dirty.
Tricking people that you call a friend that does not know any better to buy something for 400% of the actual price is extremely dirty.

hmm so you work for a "weed cartel" that sells grams... how does that work exactly what do you do??
also that appears to be half the price of a gram of gold not more than gold.

You sell things for what they are worth, not for how much you can buy them for.

You sell things for as much as you can get for them.

True. It's not the salesmans/dealers fault, if his/her customers pay the price (s)he asks for

So maybe they're not really your friends, it happens. If you don't like their prices don't buy from them. There is no "actual price" btw, the value is a fluid and subjective thing.

No, it's just life.
Do you think you can run a business by selling things 'at cost' ?

Interesting.
To clear some things up: I never bought a single thing from these people, as i said, it is not worth it.
The problem is that they suck the blood from my friends who does not know about what is worth what.
I tell my friends this and they understand, but there will always be people that in their naivety buys the bullshit spewing from their mouths.
Therefore the circle continues.
These people are taking extreme advantage of others ignorance, and instead of telling the truth they lie even more.
For money.
It is symbolic to our society.

Why so mad though? Are you also buying from these guys? sounds like it. You have to understand that these dudes are taking a risk. You don't think they are going to get the most profit possible? And the buyers probably don't give a shit because it's convenient and they don't have time to be running around trying to locate the best price in town.

as i stated in my previous post: i have never bought anything from these guys (if you knew how to read and understand text instead of taking random things out of context and interpreting them as you will)
People are buying at these prices because the dealer are masquerading as their friends, they build up false trust on the premise "that ive got the best stuff and the best prices in town".
And people buy these lies out of ignorance.
And it continues since they will only be fed lies because the profit is more attractive than humanity, morality and truth.
Weed is truly the essence of Babylon.
And fuck moving on and forgetting about it, apathy is death.

"I've got the best stuff and the best prices in town" should make you suspicious even if you haven't smoked better weed or seen better prices. The fact that it's an exaggeration is obvious.
Imagine a convenience store with a sign out front saying pretty much exactly that (substitute "goods" for "stuff.") Does anyone really take that claim seriously? Should we all start picketing the store if it turns out they're selling cans of Coke for 400% of what the grocery store charges? It just isn't worth the bother, because the deception of the sign's claims is transparent to anyone with the street smarts of the average 12 year old.
If you're going to get up in arms about drug dealers being deceptive, a much bigger issue is the practice of misrepresenting one drug as a totally different drug. This practice results in accidental overdose and death, not just high prices.
