Currently I'm negotiating my pathway into Bachelors of Interactive Media Design. Looks like I'll be doing an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design, on completion I receive a credit into Bachelor.
Course commencing Feb 2014. (Bachelor, 3 years total - full time.)
- What are your studies & goals?

Got some info today about next year, looks like I'll get a Recognition of Prior Learning (Credit) because of my previous studies in the area.

What is the confusion about? There's a massive surplus of high-paying (75k+) jobs available straight of of university in the field.

A Computer Scientist often writes and evaluates algorithms. Most of the time, the algorithms are computer programs, but that isn't always the case. A Computer Science degree is basically a green flag for being a problem solver. It is a good supplemental degree but can also get you a job straight out of college (as pwn said). The job offers are endless.
Many people think it's a terribly boring profession, but it's actually lots of fun. Solving problems that many folks don't know exist to make their tech work is very rewarding.
The only drawback for me is being stuck inside almost all day (for both class and my internship), and keeping physically fit. I just make sure I hit the gym 4 days a week and try to get outside whenever I can (though in Erie PA that's easier said then done)
