Socal local growing mushrooms?
    #19229646 - 12/05/13 12:14 AM (10 years, 1 month ago)

Found these mushrooms growing in my local Southern California park.

Its been raining on and off this month, with some sunny days and sometimes completely overcast.

They seem to be everywhere, and I need help ID'ing these, especially since they are so bountiful.

The first one looks like a Tricholoma and the others look like Panaeolus foeniseii.

I agree, there is no way ALL of those are an active Panaeolus species,

some have an extremely faint blue discoloration on the stems.  Some have small, distinctable caps that are mainly dark coulor, but ring around to a lighter color towards the gills. More pictures soon, thanks to everyone who has helped so far.
