DayTrip vs. NightTrip

A good buddy of mine wants to try mushrooms this weekend for his first time, i figured splitting an 1/8th between us would be a solid dose. Now i just cant decide if we should: 1.)trip at night around a bonfire 2.)trip during the day and go exploring, etc.
(Ive only ever tripped at nighttime)
What are some good things about both night and day tripping that you like?

Dude for me, I want to do it barely coming up to dusk my first time so I can go exploring, then see the sunset (could be cool man ) and then either chill or more likely explore the night.
I'm all about adventure and being out when I shouldn't.

Dude that's so true. I enjoy the cat and mouse aspect of being a stoner in Missouri as well... I'm going to miss it when it's legalized but that will be nice.
Don't you love how you see things at night that people can live their entire lives without seeing or knowing?

The night is where its at man. I just get these weird vibes when I trip midday, like I've crossed over into some sort of forbidden realm that everyone around me is not chill with.
I recently took 2.7g of mushrooms around a bonfire, was absolutely mindblowing. Ended up walking around my town at 3am, the streets were completely empty, no one out and about accept my friends and I. It a ll felt so magical. I'm telling ya, the nights made for tripping

I've always wanted to do a day trip. Reminds me of that Beatles song. I've only done Molly during the day. Did that twice. that was a mistake both times. Once at a Theme Park and once at a Zoo.
Peeking at dusk sounds rad. then mellowing out at night.

Night really was made for tripping. I know I still use baby hallucinogens mainly, but one of the cooler nights I've had was while calibrating a gabapentin-enhanced DPH "trip" and HOLY SHIT the trees had such atmosphere to them and reached out over me. I felt like I was somewhere between Alice in Wonderland and Fritz the Cat.
I would repeat that if I got some gabapentin.
I think I should get some gabapentin.

Haha I love the bug comparison... very apt
Gabapentin is such a fucking useful drug and was a staple of my designer, "trip with only a psychiatrist and a Walgreens instead of a psyches dealer" compounds phase
Might be giving myself too much credit but oh well
What do you use it for? Alcohol? Chillin? Benzo potentzo?

Day Trip is cool and all, but I suggest a night trip for the first time. It'll be a good time to unwind and let loose. Things usually pop out a lot more too when in the dark, the senses adjust quite well.
A bonfire with some close friends sounds like a memorable time. The sparkle of the flames, the crackling of the embers, stories exchanged. Night time all the way. You can go to sleep once the trip is over too.

I love dropping during the day and peaking watching the sun set, and then you can go into super party mode in the dark. it's definitely the best of both worlds right there.

Depends, beach going out to somewhere outside, day.
Want to have some friends come over and watch a movie and have deep conversations, night.
There's no better one, just which one youre in the mood for. If I had to choose which one i did more often, I'd say night obviously.

I generally prefer night trips. I like being up all night tripping my face off while everybody else is asleep. That said I've had my fair share of day trips. Some of them were weird...I can't explain it but it was just awkward. I was more paranoid. But I've also had a few really cool day trips as well.

I'm a day tripper personally. I do like night trips, but they don't bring the colors out the same way. But i prefer drugs that last all day and all night

Night time is just a much more magical time for me, in general. And you can't go wrong with fires.
I mean, day tripping is pretty nice, especially on a beautiful day or if you catch a beautiful sunset or sunrise, or hiking - all the leaves have fallen here, and I don't really see the appeal to daytripping as much now. I'm eating some acid this weekend and will probably dose an hour before sunset myself.

i think bare trees are as lovely as a tree full of leaves, just in a different way. My grandfather owns land with a bunch of dead mesquite trees and the sight of them is still awesome.

Oh I just think trees are lovely in general.
I just think it's not nearly as pretty hiking through the woods as it is when there's actual foliage. The last time I day tripped(a few months ago, also the last time I tripped) I remember looking at the trees and just seeing how..alive it was, they were so alive that I could hear the lifeforce....idk I can't explain it. I was tripping my balls off so I was hearing all sorts of sights and seeing all kinds of sounds lol.
I'm kinda partial to night-tripping in general, unless it's an exceptionally beautiful day. Can't say I've dosed and then gone for a walk outside this time of year during the day to begin with though.
