I know it isnt mush cultivation, but i'm in need of some info and this is the best place to find it.
I need an alternative to using a coffee grinder. Something larger. Anyone tried a blender?
I'm talking about grinding up a pound or so and it not taking me 2 hours and my coffee grinder over heating

A lot of guys I know love Vitamix blenders. My brothers even have one at my moms house. They have ridiculously expensive ones to a couple hundred dollar models. More for grinding food but it sure as shit wouldn't take more than 10 minutes to grind a pound of* boomers to dust and clean that bitch out.

Perhaps a large commercial coffee grinder like at the grocery store
Hey there you go take them to the coffee aisle at the grocery store and use their big grinder

A food processor works great! And don't buy a vitamix those things are ridiculously expensive. Ninja brands are half the price and imo work just as well.

When you say grinding up a pound or so, are you talking about dried mushrooms, or brown rice or something?

A food processor would be your best bet. You can probably get one at a yard sale or secondhand store for a decent price.
