My guess is that its a Hypholoma. But one ive never seen before. any thoughts? Spore prints later (im impatient and wanted to share my find)
Habitat: woody debri with blackberrie briers throughout. for the sake of a better description i snapped a crappy cell phone pic of the habitat

Gills: Gill color very light basically white when very immature, maturing to shades of gray/brownish. the gill color looks like an in between between normal hypholoma gill color and psilocybe gill color.

Stem: more pale when young, turning more red when mature/picked

Cap: hygrophanous. yellowish color.

Spore print color: in progress will post later
Bruising: none noted
Other information:

I'm thinking Deconica species due to the hygrophanous caps and lack of bluing.

They remind me of multiple genus...
Hypholoma, panaeolus, deconica, Galerina even maybe. Some of the medium sized ones look sooo much like a Deconica/psilocybe to me. At first I thought i found a small patch of P pelliculosa when i picked the first few small specimens, then i noticed more all around me some alot larger.

The gills look dark brown on my monitor. I'm changing my mind and agreeing with Ganzig. Maybe something like H.marginatum.

Why not Deconica? I think this genus needs even further revision after things have just willy-nilly been moved to it since they don't contain an active alkaloid. Some of the deconica I find have fibrous caps , while others have psilocybe-esque hygrophanating caps

Yeah i thought they looked like Hypholoma because the yellowish shade of the cap, The gill color on all of them is like a mix of brown/gray. It doesnt really fit into the color i normally see hypholoma gills but the shade of gray definately also makes me think hypholoma.
If it is Hypholoma though its a unique looking one. Usually I know a Hypholoma as soon as i see it.
