But it has to do with that Hitler Vid with 'dem Pris jokes? Anyone got a link?
Really though, I am not allowed to talk openly about it. I mean, it does exist. No it doesn't. Yes it does.
We are not allowed to talk about what happens in there.
I do confess, however, it does exist.
And... we may be talking about YOU.

Well, from years of experience in management science including a PhD in the field, I can say it's really not a universal law that small team size creates more or better output It really depends on a lot of other facts, starting with the nature of the work.
Anyway, I agree that proper version control (among others) certainly can make teamwork in software engineering perfectly feasible, but the question is how much programming work really needs to be done in a place like this.
One of the reasons why I'm currently being called a quitter by Cervantes (;)) is that I think the primary risk to a community like this is that overorganization. You can cuddle it to death by not resisting the urge to meddle with it. Really, it works pretty well - I honestly don't think there's a need for a huge staff.
Seems like you've got a bit more in the credentials on this one, Dr. Koraks .
I agree (though I've certainly got loss perspective) and I was figuring for running the Shroomery, but then again this site got fucking big so for 3 people to run it... they might have to be full-time or worse.
For larger projects though, of course you're going to need thousands of peeps to make a comprehensive EMR suite or something.
That's really neat the field you're in!
