That's a good observation. The Kings actually changed their colors to silver and black when the Raiders were in town and doing well. Before that they had those ugly purple and gold uniforms that they took from the Lakers.
Good call. I forgot that the Kings started out with Laker's color. Then they tried all kinds of things. The colors were usually OK but some of the logos were terrible. Going to Raider's colors always seems to work, in a tough guy sport like football or hockey. Ironic that the Kings are now very good and the Raiders are back in Oakland and aren't.

Brian Jones said: The Rangers are going to look at game one and think they let a golden opportunity slip away. Losing an early 2 goal lead they were dominated in the 3 period being outshot 20-3, before losing in overtime. In reference to NY's speed advantage and LA's size advantage, ananlysts said, speed wears down as the game wears on, but size stays the same the same.
Through out the playoffs the Kings have comeback to beat all opponents after falling behind.
The tickets for games three and four in NY are selling for more than Super Bowl tickets.
There was an article in one of the papers that you could fly out there, get a hotel and scalp a ticket in LA for less than you can scalp a ticket in NY.
Hagelin almost had another short handed goal late in regulation. I don't think that indicates particular fatigue by the Rangers. Girardi just played like shit and did so at a very inopportune moment.
Yes, very different hockey economics in New York than LA. Rangers fans have waited for so long, and before the last time with Messier, they waited even longer. When the NY Islanders had their dynasty, it just pissed off the hardcore Rangers fans and made things worse.
Now LA looks like they have the best team around, and a only a small portion of their city cares.
About the 3rd period, I don't know if the analysts were right about NY getting tired. But the 20-3 shots differential was the greatest in finals 3rd period in 20+ years. I agree with them that Lundqvist kept them in the game, and they can't win unless he's the MVP. But who knows what can happen in a game or two, especially in a sport that only takes a couple score to win.

OK, can't argue with the man in the streets.
For the last game at Chicago, the LA TV market had a 3 share. Using some other rating system, LA had a 4 point something and Chicago was twenty something. Nation wide the telecast set a record.
Have fun out there.

Rangers actually outplayed them again. Double over time! Officially and technically LA has never had the lead in these two games.
It doesn't matter. Unless NY can win all their home games.
