LA in 6 or less. The Rangers did get 2 more days of rest so that could factor in.
I guess I misspoke earlier about this being another perfect match up for the NHL TV markets. The ratings were shit in LA yesterday.

Their jerseys look like some kind of design that the Raiders rejected. I can't believe they've been in the NHL since the '60s. They seem like an expansion team. At least, I actually remember the Rangers from somewhere.

Was an exciting game tonight, thought for a minute the Rangers might just pull it out
I am glad they were able to fill the void while I await the start of the NBA finals

Go Kings I guess... Because I've lived in California, but the Sharks are my Cali team. I'm still butthurt the Avs lost in round one. If Duchane wasn't out almost the whole cup we would still be in it. (to win it )

They are an expansion team from the first wave of expansion. Before that it was the original six

The Rangers are going to look at game one and think they let a golden opportunity slip away. Losing an early 2 goal lead they were dominated in the 3 period being outshot 20-3, before losing in overtime. In reference to NY's speed advantage and LA's size advantage, ananlysts said, speed wears down as the game wears on, but size stays the same the same.
Through out the playoffs the Kings have comeback to beat all opponents after falling behind.
The tickets for games three and four in NY are selling for more than Super Bowl tickets.

That's a good observation. The Kings actually changed their colors to silver and black when the Raiders were in town and doing well. Before that they had those ugly purple and gold uniforms that they took from the Lakers.

I'm pretty sure Eazy-E was wearing a Kings hat when Magic Johnson pumped him full of AIDS.

There was an article in one of the papers that you could fly out there, get a hotel and scalp a ticket in LA for less than you can scalp a ticket in NY.
Hagelin almost had another short handed goal late in regulation. I don't think that indicates particular fatigue by the Rangers. Girardi just played like shit and did so at a very inopportune moment.
