Orange stain at knock up point...is this a contam?

So, every jar i knocked up looked like this after two days....at every knock up point. They didn't get any darker or larger since then, that was on Nov. 6th.

Since the mycelium started growing, and once it got about 50% colonized, the inside of the jar got pretty wet looking, and the orange spots started looking like this...

Here's another shot from a different angle...In the above pic, it looks like the mycelium grew around the spot, when actually, the spot is on the glass, and not part of the cake in the jar. In another jar, the mycelium has completely colonized the cake, even though this stuff was in the last one too. I really don't know what to make of it, and all the reading i've done on here doesn't clear it up for me...does anyone know what it is? Has anyone ever seen it before?

This is my first grow, and any help would be appreciated!!

It wasn't white right from the beginning....should i have thrown it out two days after knock up? The spots remained unchanged for about 21 days or so. Why would it not grow until the mycelium took over half the cake? I know it's not white, or right, and that sounds like a nice little jingle to go by, but I want to know what caused it, and what it is....so i can possibly fix whatever part of my process caused it. I know it's not rust, because it's on the glasses with tinfoil as well.

ya man...I did use a glove box. Here's a link to my grow...i was as clean as i could be for my first time. I have jars that i knocked up the very same day, with absolutely no growth at all...just the orange stain...still like day 2, no change. The spots didn't change at all till the mycelium started to colonize the jar. I think my temps were too high and caused metabolites, which in turn made the orange spots look sludgy and wet.

do you know what it's contaminated with, or what caused it? Is bacterial or fungal?

There's also the possibility it could be rust from the lid but it's most probably contamination. Let them sit for a week or so. You'll know for sure then. If it is indeed contamination, my guess is some kind of bacteria but it's hard to tell.

Thanks Maia. The orange stain is on every one of the jars...even the glasses without lids. I thought it might be rust too, but there's no way that the glasses could get rust on them from the tinfoil. One jar that's fully colonized now used to have the same thing, but it's gone now. When i birth it, if it smells, i'll toss if for sure. If not, i got a smaller FC to let them fruit in.

So i tossed all the jars that showed no signs of myc growth with the orange stains. When i "birthed" them, i gave them a good smell...they didn't really smell like anything. No sour smell or funk. They actually smelled a little like pie crust lol.
This one was going for 4 weeks with no signs of myc so i tossed it
Again, it smelled fine, and the orange didn't change
This one was in the same state, but was knocked up only 3 weeks ago....but still no sign of myc so it had to go too. No smell from this one, and no change in the orange.
IF anyone cares to figure out what it was, can you let me know?
