Here is my tub. Right now i have it in fruiting conditions, however my gut is telling me to tape it back up until pins start forming. What do you think?

You already exposed it to FAE and light, might as well just fruit it! I've fruited several tubs like that. Did you "case" it with extra sub or did you not add any "casing"

Looks a little early, but it should be fine. Taping it back up might help it finish colonizing a little quicker but I'd just leave it alone and wait.

Lots and lots of knotting, primordia, and a few pins/clusters popping up. will take a picture when there is something big enough to show off. Got high hopes for this tub

Good to hear it's doing well, but I agree that doesn't look fully colonized. Once you expose it to fresh air though there's no point going back, you've set the mycilium back by changing it's cycle and then putting it back as well as exposed it to more contaminants which FAE will help keep down. It'll still colonize while fruiting, and since it sounds like it's taking off you'll probably be fine. Would like to see pics, keep us updated.

ive had other tubs previously http://imgur.com/a/6f0IW. but none of them really looked quite as "weak". it just looked a little patchy for what im used to. but it seems to be doing well. so yea. looks promising though.

I've always waited for a handfull of pins to pop and then fruit, probably just cause im frightened of contams, but either way... BOOMERS in a few more days!
