Who is your favorite Player, on your own fav team and leaguewide?

Past, Present I don't care.

On the Broncos Its Champ Bailey, but its real close with Von Miller.

In the league for some unknown reason i like Dez Bryant, Arian Foster is right up there too love the dudes mindset.

Russel wilson.

I know you hate him but I've watched every seattle game this year and he is just too exciting to watch. Never in doubt and always clutch. Where the others of his class are dropping off and inconsistent he's still winning games and playing like a vet.

Leaugue wide its a tie between jordy nelson and a.j. green. Just phenomonal WRs. Nelson game in and game out makes the most ridiculous tippy toe catches and is so ridiculously clutch. Green is just a straight giant beast only thing that makes that team fun to watch.

Walter Payton

John Madden's first book had a chapter called "Why Walter Payton is the Best"
Not best running back. Best football player.

When someone tried to tackle him, the tackler took the brunt of the punishment.

He was the best open field blocker. When he blocked somebody they were on the ground.

I wish Barry Sanders had beaten Payton's rushing record. Sanders was a class act. He always handed the ball to the ref after a TD.

I highly recommend the book Sweetness.

My favorite football player of all time is without a doubt is Ricky Williams. He thinks outside the box.

My favorite Falcon was a dude from the late 70's called Alfred Jenkins. He used to hurl the ball in the stands after receiving touchdown passes. When I was a kid that shit used to make my nuts tingle like crazy.

Barry Sanders, overall. But if it's a current player I'd go with LeSean McCoy. From a different team, probably Manning. He's just simply a badass. If it's a past Eagles player I gotta go Brian Dawkins, all day.

I'm not going to be a homer and go with one the players on the team I root for, so I'll go...as far as active NFL players go, Tom Brady. Dude is a fucking G. Haters gonna hate because motherfuckers are jealous naturally, but 3 superbowls, 2 superbowl MVPs, 8 time probowl selection, 2 league MVPs, 145-42 career record, in 13 years has never had a losing season...oh yeah and dude has a supermodel in his bed every night.

That was my attempt at being a smartass. You're right though, OJ was very good before he became a murdering thief.

My favorite player to watch presently would be Adrian Peterson. Past...probably Jerry Rice or Barry Sanders.

Lol you know I got to back my boy from Michigan. I've watched his career from the beginning, when he was just a pretty good college quarterback who wasn't supposed to be anything at all on the next level -- barely drafted to a guy who will go down as one of the best quarterbacks in the history of the league. What he has accomplished is up there with the likes of Joe Montana; it's crazy.

I guess he's easy to hate because he's so hard to beat and also the fact that he could probably swim in pussy if he wasn't married to Gisele (hell for all we know he's still swimming in it), but dude I'm guessing that if he played on your team you'd probably change your opinion pretty quick on him

Feel the same way about all the “elite” qbs. I respect em all but peyton is the only one i like, and i only like him because he’s on the broncos
I liked welker when he was on the pats, like him even more now.

Dude could get mad ass even if he had a shitty office job and a hyundai. Gisele is pretty as fuck obviously but if your gonna get a brazilian get a fucking real brazilian, with some ass and some titties.

I liked Patrick Kerney, then John Carlson.. now the seahawks are all black people.  So I don't have a favorite.  If I had to choose I guess it would be Marshawn or Russell.  Id rather fuck Russell than the beast though.  But neither are super hawt.

Lol keep voting out of your tax bracket buddy.

Grand Ole Party
The party of the rich(old money), the stupid, and the mislead. You really don’t understand much about economic policy do you? Both parties are ultra spenders, the difference is one at least tries to benefit the common man, where as the other just helps out their buddies. Just look at your pariah Reagan.

They're dangerous. If Stafford is on and that D-line is getting pressure like they're capable of with Suh & Fairley collapsing the pocket, they are dangerous. Really dangerous.

BUT they're also just as dangerous to themselves. They casually commit stupid ass turnovers like it's no thang. They out gained the Cowboys like 620 to 240 in total yards and still needed a miracle to win because they turned it over four times. They out gained the Bucs the same way but lost because they turned it over 5 (FIVE!!!) times. Last week they turned it over 3 times in the fucking first half before beating GB 40-10 and out gaining them 561 to 126 (Lol) in total yards.

They move the ball up and down the field like it's Madden. Clearly one of the most potent offenses in football both scoring and yardage wise. But if they don't get that turnover situation fixed in a hurry, they'll find themselves out of the playoffs before you can blink, and may not even get their altogether. This 4,5 turnovers a game shit has to end.

I think they can win a game if they get to the playoffs, because that game will be at Ford Field. Only way in for them is too hold onto the division. Going into Seattle or New Orleans though and winning? They'd probably get murdered.

But they're turning it around. From 2000-2010 they were the worst franchise in professional sports. Now they're on the verge of making it into the playoffs in 2 of the past 3 years. They're no longer a joke at least, and I'll take that for now. Baby steps. The Bengals went through the same thing and (dare I say it) are actually a winning organization these days. Certainly better than average.

Turnovers come with the game. Unfortunately the lions experience a lot of them. Always been a die hard Lion. I hate watching them lose, but i loathe the day i have to watch them win and gain millions of dipshit blue and silver fans. If they ever do get good ill always miss screaming "Goddamn Lions!" At my tv ruthlessly as i exhale a harsh cloud of marajuana smoke and watch Reggie Bush fumble the first drive of thanksgiving day on the 10 yard line. Swim has lost a lot of money betting on those fucking Lions -.-. Won some tho too.

I've screamed "Goddamn Lions" and wanted to shatter my TV enough times to last the next 46 lifetimes. I think I've had my share of that. Lol yall are getting caught in that loop again.

I hope the lions do well man i really do, but that seems liekt he fundamental flaw of that organization. Right as you start to believe the go and pull a fucking detroit kinda move.

Don’t worry though man, I’m a jazz fan, we are never going to win a championship.... ever, but for some reason i keep cheering. Lions should be a really good team in a few years. Stafford is a stud,  and Megatron may be making a run for best ever dangerous combo right there. Probably one of the most dangerous offenses ever.

Yep me and my pops were talking about this during Thanksgiving.

The Lions are like Lucy & Charlie Brown, where she pulls the football on him every single time.

It's like every time the Lions tease and you think they may actually be turning the corner...they pull the football away and implode.

I could still easily see them blowing this golden opportunity at the playoffs, too. Would not surprise me one bit. In fact I'm trying to mentally prepare myself for it.

They should make one where instead of missing the ball he pulls a Bruce Lee flying drop kick on Lucy's face and her head goes flying off and blood shoots out off her neck.

Take it from a Falcons fan. The Lions better strike while the iron is hot because that window closes as fast as fuck in the NFL.

I gotta go with the player that made me a Rams fan as a youngster Jack Youngblood.

I can remember sitting with my Dad watching the 1980 superbowl, my dad says this Jack Youngblood guy for the rams is playing with a broken leg and has played through the playoffs with a broken leg.

I thought that was the most admirable, unselfish, tough ass thing anybody could do. I was sold been a Rams fan ever since they even lost that game.

I liked Marshall Faulk alot lot when he was with my team, and so many others it's tough to name them all.

Currently its gotta be James Laurinaitis this guy is a hell of a linebacker he leads my team in tackles and has for the past couple seasons he is all over the field, you guys probably haven't even heard of him since he plays on a team that gets no real attention.
Other honorable mentions currently Chris long, and Robert Quinn.

Tom Brady is now 43-6 in December. For those who hate him because of Giselle, his first baby mama was Bridget Monihan. Good enough.

That's boss shit right there.

Yeah. I'm just a jealous hater.

Reply to function.

What do I have to be butt hurt about? The 49ers rarely play the Patriots, and last time they did Kaepernick essentially beat Brady in a shootout.

Now, is Tom Brady an elite quarterback that will be remembered as one of the greatest to ever play? Absolutely. But is he also a whiney little bitch? I think you know the answer

Best QB in the league is so fucking subjective too man. Come on.

I have a soft spot for safeties.

Brian Dawkins and John Lynch were awesome. Im happy they both came to Denver for a bit as well. Wish Sean Taylor could have been around longer.

Best quarterback ever....no contest "Johnny Unitas" That man did everything. ..called his own plays too. I agree with Walter Payton being the best overall running back and maybe Jerry Rice or Lynn Swann as the ultimate receiver.

Best defensive player Linebacker would have to be either Dick Butkus or Ray Lewis in the early years....Lewis re-invented the linebacker with his sideline to sideline abilities. Butkus was just a fucking animal that hated anyone carrying a football....he was my hero growing up...lol showed my age. Best safety Ronnie Lott or even Ed Reed in his early days...Best D-lineman Alan Page.

I'm also old enough to remember Unitas and Butkus. I guess I'm not quite old enough to really remember them from their prime, more from replays and filmclips. Johnny U peaked before the Superbowl era. His passing records were remarkable given the short seasons and no rules to protect QBs or receivers. They always call the 1958 Colts overtime victory over the Giants "the greatest game ever played" because it gave the NFL popularity that it never had before.
I remember Superbowl III, when Unitas was injured all year, and came in for the 4th quarter. He did better than Earl Morral had, but Namath and the Jets won, so they had to merge the leagues.

I rank Unitas with Montana and Brady as the top QBs, but those are three different eras.

I thought Butkus was the best linebacker I ever saw, but I guess with the changes in athletes across the board, it would be Ray Lewis. He combined Urlacher's speed with Butkus and Nitschke's physical meaness.

Butkus highlight films make my balls tingle twice as much as Ray Lewis. That grainy shit and the rules back then. You can't beat it.

I was managing this big pizza restaurant in Champaign Il and Butkus was there for the 30th anniversary of the 1963 Illinois Rose Bowl Champions. Butkus stole this guys bar stool. The guy said "Hey that's my chair". Butkus goes "Yea, So What" I figured this would be a good time for me to go back to the kitchen.

I also sold a pizza to Gregg Landry. He was a quarterback for Detroit and Baltimore, and he spent a couple of years as offensive coordinator for Illinois.

The best linebacker ever played for the NY Giants.  I saw Butkus and Nitshke and Lewis and Singletary and a whole shit load of great linebackers but Lawrence Taylor was definitely the greatest.  He changed the game unlike any other.

I agree that Montana received tremendous support and not just on offense.  Name one defensive player Marino had that was as good as Ronnie Lott.

Your Brady nonsense is stupid.  Like really stupid.  They get shit draft position every year yet still make the playoffs.  Do you really think one jackoff employee who taped another team's practice was even worth anything?  You're a joke.

Mangini later stated, "I didn't think it was any kind of significant advantage, but I wasn't going to give them the convenience of doing it in our stadium, and I wanted to shut it down. But there was no intent to get the league involved. There was no intent to have the landslide that it has become."

In 2012, nearly five years removed from the incident, former Jets head coach Eric Mangini stated that "I think when you look at the history of success that [the Patriots] had after that incident, it’s pretty obvious that it didn’t play any type of significant role in the victories [the Patriots] had or the success that [the Patriots] had."[16] As of the conclusion of the 2011 NFL season, the Patriots had the best record in the NFL since Spygate, compiling a 48-16 record from 2008-11 (the Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints were second best over that span at 45-19).

I'm not a Pats fan.  I'm a Bills fan.  I do not loathe the Pats but I do loathe the Jets.  Mostly because most of their fans sound like you.  I lived in Lexington for 3 years and I've been in and around NY the rest of my life.  You are being really stupid with this bandwagoner bullshit.  It is moronic.  I have to acknowledge and admire the Patriot's success.  You are just a bitter troll.  Tell your mom I said hi and to get the meatloaf.

This

Pats admirers are almost as bad.

I just find it pretty fucking weird that an old ass (geriatric would be the proper term) guy would associate him self with a bunch of 20 somethings at a school he never attended, or has any connection to, and is in a completely separate geographic reason.

Check, Check, Check.
looks like you fit the bill.

I have actually heard that from several people who know them, including a Pats fan, but I have almost zero personal experience of them.  I have tons of personal experience with Jets fans and they are, by and large, retarded.

What part of "I used to live there" is so difficult for your cranial walnut to conceive?  I root for Syracuse, too, because I used to live there.  I am the exact opposite of a "bandwagoner".  I am quite loyal to my teams, all of which I have followed since before your pimply ass was even born.

Tell me atale of Knowshon the Animal.  I love that story.

Check, Check, Check for me too.

Pats admirer because I appreciate long term excellence. I used to think they were pussies, but I started liking them in 93 when they hired Parcells.

56 years old.

800 miles away.

There is no coach in this league that can gameplan and make adjustments like Belichick. Who even comes close?

Brady's passing stats have improved since spygate. Anyway, every team cheats on every single play. This is a 9 billion dollar business. If you aint cheating you aint trying. Name another 9 billion dollar business where the top competitors try to play fair.

Geography's got nothing to do with it. I've always hated the Cowboys and I've hated Denver since the time of Craig Morton. I Liked Oakland in the Madden and Flores eras.

I have no personal feelings for Seattle but they will win it because they will have home field and a cold weather superbowl and they have the team to dominate under those conditions.

It really does amaze me that so many people are convinced the Seahawks are going to win this year, I don't see it at all.

Me and you bro, me and you.

I don’t think denver will either, i hope to high heavens, but I doubt it. New Englands chances are slim as well.

Honestly i think it will be another team of destiny. Fucking Ravens may make a run again, Chiefs are mighty fierce, San Fran is still around, who knows.

Zappa if you were loyal to you teams you would stick to one and follow it.
Not this bullshit “i like Michigan AND Alabama” cover every base kind of nonsense.
