Pretty sure my dog killed my tub....

at least a sick pinset.
earlier today i checked on a tub i put into fruiting around 10 or 11 days ago for the first time. it was speckled with tons of primordia and baby pins! most ive ever seen on one of my tubs. i was soooo psyched! i couldnt wait to get home to get pictures. i got home and somehow my dog got to the tub and ripped out just about all the polyfil. i proly didnt close the door all the way.
he ripped out from my other 3 tubs, but those are already on second flush, one on third, and are basically spent anyway. didnt have any baby pins or primordia for the most part on them.
but this was a ton of fragile primordia and baby pins. well, apparantly the holes for id say about 5-6 hours was enough to dry out the surface fairly significantly. the primordia wasnt as clearly defined nor the baby pins, aside from a few bigger clusters of them. but, these were barely visible to the naked eye themselves. anyway, it seems the drying out killed, or greatly hindered these primordia and baby pins. there were some baby pins that kept their white composure. these are albinos btw.
i gave the tub a misting to get the surface some moisture again, and it wasnt too long before there was a blueish tint to a good lot of the primordia and baby pins!
i gather they are all aborted now.
question though, is there a chance they can recover? im betting on not
but, even if not, am i pretty much now fucked for a first flush? is there still a chance of producing a flush that was looking as promising as this did before drying out?

i accidently left my lid off my small tub about a month ago, the fruits got all soft and almost squishy , i think they were just reverting but they did stop growing. i got a bad ass second flush though. also mine were already about 2 inches tall. hope it works out for ya

right on. thanks....
considering, say, this flush doesnt push anything out, might that in effect, give the tub the abilty to yield possibly a better third flush even than usual, considering it wont be using up as much nutrients right off the bat?
gah, you should of seen this thing. i mean, i was like, when i saw it this morning. seriosly looked like one for the record books and id been having some good results lately.
honestly, ive never had any serious losses so far in my ventures in mycology. when i used to use the bucket tek i lost a couple tubs right off the bat. maybe had some bad performers, but never an actual loss, from what was otherwise serious potential. a couple outdoor beds that never really did what i expected. none of it was nearly as devestated as this.
oh well, so it goes.
