Great effort.

I think the light might be a bit too much for what you are doing.  A few LED lights would do the trick. or some ambient light if you take the top off the box

As for the fan I think it might be overkill.  Polyfil holes in the tub would be the best bet.

It seems you are using a humidity dome.  You can plug the holes in the dome with polyfil and leave it in the corner of a warm room. or on a dining table depending on your situation.

I wish you the best of luck.

Such direct lighting from an incandescent bulb might be harmful. If it's a soft white bulb, that's bad too since it runs around 3000k where you'd like to have something closer to the blue spectrum, such as 5000-6000k. Florescent bulbs work best I believe. Well, indirect daylight probably would work best.

that looks counterproductive.
search for shotgun fc or sgfc.
it's a plastic tub with 1/4" holes every 2" on all 6 sides in a grid pattern.
4-6" perlite in the bottom and elevate it a couple inches for air to come through the bottom.

Looks good so far but i would drill holes on all sides of the tub.
