Oh god dude that doesn't look appetizing. I think they are cyans but theyre kinda decomposing already so I'm not 100%. Don't think I would eat those if they were cyans anyway.

ah yes but, you have to consider that there are a ton of hunters, i'd say for every foot of land there's at least one hunter. sf is known for this kinda thing..EVERYBODY goes to ggp..
Lmao that's what I was going to say but I thought why bother, let him walk around and get some exercise. You have to remember too that its not just an SF thing people will travel a long way just to forage there.
I was quitting weed the day I posted that and perhaps a bit harsh. But either way, it wasn't a waste of my time, I had fun, still walking around a nice park, it's the park I was already at.

My house, my family, my backyard, my power mower. Nothing would ever change; nothing new could ever be expected. It had to end, and it did. Two SF mushroom events this weekend:
I will be leading a foray with the SF Psychedelic Society on December 7. We will be collecting mushrooms for the MSSF Fungus Fair Dec 8.
I expect that there will be more people than mushrooms, but should be fun anyway.
If you are into mushroom ID, make sure to attend the sorting for the MSSF fair, which begins Saturday afternoon in Golden Gate Park.
Below is the info:
Where: Sutro Heights Park ( at the old old mansion).
When: Saturday, December 7th, 2013 - 10am - 1pm
You may remember Alan Rockefeller from his Psilocybin Mushroom Identification lectures he has given to us in the past. He's been up to quite a bit since then, he's recently returned from yet another year mushroom hunting in Mexico.
We're proud to welcome Alan back to the San Francisco Psychedelic Society for a special hands-on event: IN THE WILD! Mushroom Hunt and Identification.
During this event Alan Rockefeller will take us around Sutro Heights & Lands End park and show us the basics of mushroom hunting and identification. We will look at the mushrooms that grow wild in the park including some species that are edible.
Alan will show you the basics of IN THE WILD mushroom identification including:
• San Francisco's edible, toxic and hallucinogenic species
• Common lookalikes
• Mushroom identification
• Mushroom habitats
• And More
$5-20 suggested donation--Your donation directly helps the society put on more events like this. No one turned away for lack of funds.
The trip will be packed with lots of information that will be interesting and informative to mushroom fans. We look forward to seeing you at the event!
About the Presenter:
Alan Rockefeller is a mushroom hunter specializing in mushroom taxonomy. He has been collecting mushrooms for ten years, and has traveled to Mexico to collect mushrooms for the past 7 summers. Alan is a network security expert, a moderator at the Shroomery Mushroom Hunting and Identification Forum, and posts all of his mushroom photographs on mushroomobserver.org.
Late Comers
Please do your best to arrive at 10am, or it might be difficult to find us! However, if you do arrive late, you can try to contact us by calling 415-630-2064.
If you don't see us at Sutro Heights park, check the Lands End area across the street.
Annual Fungus Fair Returns to San Francisco
on Dec. 8 for “Celebration of Wild Mushrooms”
GOLDEN GATE PARK — In the San Francisco Bay Area, when the first rains tease up the chanterelles and porcini, fungus lovers head to the Fungus Fair: A Celebration of Wild Mushrooms.
Join members of the Mycological Society of San Francisco to see hundreds of unusual wild mushroom specimens local to the Bay Area.
The Fair teaches about the uses and abuses of fungi with displays and exhibits on ecology, toxicology, arts and cultivation. Identification tables display locally collected mushrooms. Campsite gourmands learn to serve up the safe and scrumptious species through tutorials, cooking demos, and sales of recipe books, soups, snacks, and fresh edibles.
Watch renowned Bay Area chefs prepare dishes like matsutakes & roasted cauliflower in coriander cream or sautéed caramel candy cap pears and dentelles.
Scientists will be on hand to help you I.D. your mushroom finds. Alan Rockefeller will be running a psychoactive mushrooms table.
TIME/DATE: 10 am to 5 pm, Sunday, December 8, 2013
LOCATION: Golden Gate Park Hall of Flowers, 1199-9th Ave., San Francisco

Nice... So I've got my eye out on the right Areas it seems. I'm sure after good rains My cyan and Allenii spots should pump out Some more. Is potency roughly the same as Cyans and what gives them away as allenii?
