It's on a big sale today. Should I pull the trigger with some juice or go for something else? I'm looking for some phat cyber Monday deals, if you have any other ideas, let me hear them.
Can I use this pen for hash oil?

not a bad starter at all. ego twist is a good choice because you can dial in your voltage to whatever "strength" of a draw you want(3.7-4.2v). No good for hash oil though with the kanger tank. You would want a wickless atomizer for something like that. All the atomizer would have is a kanthal coil in the bottom. Search around.....ecigs are a hobby within themselves. If you have anymore questions hit me up. Been puffin em for almost 3 years now. Ive tried out a assload of products. Some good....others not so good.

take that back brotha.Just looked at it again.....comes with a 306 connection. Try for an ego with a 510 connection. Much easier to get parts for.

Can you help me find something for cheap with today's discounts, under $40 (maybe with some free juice) that I can get by the end of the day? Otherwise, I'm just going to get another shitty rechargeable.

Preferably one with hash oil capabilities... whether dissolved in juice or straight shatter.

Pros... 2 batteries, has a 510 connection, reputable brand battery. The protank it comes with is legit... easy to find replacement heads for too... a protank alone costs almost 20.
ohh... mini vs standard... the only difference is it's a protank mini vs protank... I don't think there is any difference besides how much juice it holds.

Also would you suggest the variable voltage or just the regular battery?

I'd just get the regular battery. It will lost much longer.
Buy these in 1.8 ohm too.. you will need to replace the heating coil (aka head) in your tank every 1-2 weeks. A 1.8 ohm head with a standard battery will keep you happy.

Oh man, there is a weekly cost to these things? I might just try and find a nice rechargeable because I really don't want to have to worry about juices, heads, batteries, and the like.

honestly this is the most bang for your buck. a 5v unit with the giant carto and your blowing rings like crazy. Get some omfg tobacco juice and hit it. This will be a little more pricey, but def. worth the extra bux. I still use this setup today with the exception of a rebuildable atomizer. If your not looking to spend the cash like that, just do a search for a 1100 mah ego kit. Make sure its a manual....autos suck and break real quick. Check out highbrow for juice....most natural tasting stuff out there.
Heres a link for something around 40$

The only thing that will need to be replaced are the heads every week or two... which are like a dollar each. And of course you need juice to put in it. You can get 30ml from mtbakervapor.com for $8.
Trust me dude, get one of these, you will thank me. It will save you money in the long run.
Those "rechargeables" I think you are talking about have juice in prefilled cartomizers that are disposable. The juice costs WAY more that way.

That is why you want a 510 connector. Those parts are quite easy to find.
E Cigs have a kinda' steep buy in. But it is most cost effective to get a quality kit. Changing parts is no where near as difficult as you seem to think.

The advice you have been given is sound, but I wouldn't buy just yet because you clearly have a bit more to learn. Really an ego style battery and a 510 connector is key. You may eventually want something better, but anything less will likely prove unsatisfying... and you will likely trade up to an ego model sooner rather than later so best to start there.
Be prepared to spend some cash as you learn what flavors you like and your preferred nicotine level. Tobacco flavored juice sucks in general. Menthol seems quite popular (just menthol no tobacco flavor). I like many flavors and enjoy rotating them or mixing them from time to time.

I find Kanger evod atomisers very easy to rebuild, and it only costs pennies per rebuild.
If you can roll a joint, you should be able to rebuild an evod atomiser.
