Glass jar for agar: Lids - Filter - GE question..??

Hi!
Pf tek jars are so easy! With the dry verm barrier and tin foil you're basically covered...
But I need to clean up a print and also test an LC (so just basic agar, I'm gonna be looking for rizo but not working with isolates...)
I was thinking of using my half pint (flat style) jars with plastic screw-on lids... And just PC'ing them with a bit of agar media flat on the bottom...
But without the verm barrier, and having only 3 mm of agar at the bottom of the dish... I must say I don't know how to set up the jars...
Any tips on lids filters and GE? I'm basically clueless and since not using normal petri dishes I'm not sure how to adjust...
Thanks a lot!

make a 1/4 inch hole in the lid and tightly stuff some polyfil(polyester stuffing)into the hole

Thanks a lot! That's what I'll do. But just since I have some... How would 3M micropore tape perform vs polyfil? ...out of curiosity...

That will work just fine. IMHO I find working with glass jars difficult with agar. It works, they can just be a pain. Don't let me discourage you though lol, plenty of people have great success with them and it is great that your getting into agar
Agar is fun
