I seriously hate the internet sometimes

Everything is online now. It's depressing. All information is online. Movies, TV, video games, books, information, music. Everything. I'm so sick of staring at a screen.
I hate how I feel dumb asking people questions. Someone is coming over and I asked if he needed directions. He said he would just plug it into his phone.
I don't know why, but it just makes me feel outdated and useless. Like everything I know is pointless because you can google everything. I mean the convenience and information is great. I just wish I didn't stare at screens so much. I wish I interacted with real people when I want to learn things.

Or went to the library to read books.
I can't justify buying music or books anymore. Youtube has everything. Just google "______ pdf" and there's the book you want. I like owning books and cds.

I seek experience from people interactions, and knowledge from wherever (internet, text, or person).

CDs suck balls, unless they're ripped lossless and able to be played via MP3 player so you don't have to carry shitty portable CD player that skips and eventually the CD can be ruined.
all music should be sold online, and if you want the album for itemization, get it on Vinyl; it sounds better and you don't support the shitty compact CD sales.

Vinyl sounds like shit. I want my music crisp and clean, not fuzzy and popping. Judging by the people in the past that have told me that vinyl is superior, you're just old and you're saying that because of nostalgia. It's not better than a CD. vinyl's popping does as much to distract from the immersion that a CD's skipping does.
I'm not a huge fan of CDs either though.

LOL, fuzzy and popping is what happens after playing your Vinyl for the hundredth time and the same damaged would be seen on a CD after being played that many times... personally i'd take a pop over a skip, anyday.
plus, fuzziness? no. it's called ANALOG. it gives a warmer tone to the sound, and is lossless more so then any digital format; you get a much more natural sound and the sound is alot more as it truly is; despite the analog signal even.
Vinyl's > CD's
digital lossless media is where it's at, anyways; but CD's are garbage now. they need to stop making them.

no, i just explained to you, and that's all you have to say? i'm 25 years old, i'm not nostalgic about Vinyls, bud.
i'm telling you, digital formats lose the inherent data that gets put on Magnetic Tape or Vinyl. you can look at it as if the waveform of the sound input gets chopped in half. with Vinyl you have a full waveform, and with digital the wave form gets chopped and the "noise" and "space" around the instruments an sounds gets removed, resulting in a lesser and less accurate sound.

not nostalgia. facts.
i like digital formats in Lossless though, because that's the direct copy from the sound's data and i like not carrying around a big disc shaped asshole that skips and i can't fit anywhere in a pocket.
basically CD's suck, (especially older CD's where publishers just plain gypped people of sound quality) and they should be replaced with DVD's and DVD music players.
people say one cannot tell the difference, well, i say those people need to grow some new ears. all the mechanics that go into producing the sound change as you change formats... CD sound now can be as good as ever, but still doesn't change the fact that you can make clearer lossless sound by using DVD's, or by using Vinyl (really only important for music DONE ON analog equipment); and also CD players are annoying as shit.

I hate it too, I go online because there are no one to interact with. Everyone is on Facebook and I'm like you are all faggots. there's 12ft snow outdoors so I can't go outside ):

This true, hypothetically. Notice in the photo though, that the "digital" wave is depicting about 35 data points. This means it's showing an incredibly small amount of time (like, .0001 second of audio).
If I showed you 1 second of "CD sound", the graph would contain 44,100 data points. You visually wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
This is why, despite the claims of 20-something hipsters, 99.999% of people can't tell the difference between vinyl and CD.

Google how to interact with people and how to get rid of google anxiety
but I know the feeling ;-) I couldnt stop using google though, use it 20-100 times a day for the past 15 years
did stop using facebook though, and considered stopping using a cellphone, creditcard etc.

I was talking about listening to music. As in: "I'm going to listen to a new album". Most people can't tell the difference between vinyl and CD's.
As for the latest crop of Apple macbook DJs ("I spin recrods brah"). I could care less what they think. Having a computer mix someone elses music doesn't make you an "artist".

Recently saw this on postsecret.com, a blog where people mail in anonymous secrets. It hit me hard how much I can relate to this.

Dude listen. Knowing everything is boring anyway. Being knowledgeable and being charismatic are not the same, and you can still relate to people in an infinite number of ways.
