yellow dusty mold on cakes

There is a yellow mold growing on the colonized cakes, when touched it gives of a yellow pollen-like dust. This is my first batch so I'm not sure what this could be and if it is anything that can be fixed. I have posted pictures of my setup and cakes. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

I've never seen any contamination that has acted like that so maybe someone else knows what that is, but regardless that doesn't look good.

I was thinking that it could be cobweb mold, but the yellow coloration and dust sets it apart. The terrarium didn't have a high humidity so cobweb mold seems unlikely. The terrarium did have alarmingly low levels of humidity. So perhaps that could have been factor in the mold.

This is scary, btw.
First, I would like to point out there are no holes on the lid of your SGFC, and the bottom is not elevated from the ground. When it comes to the contams, I haven't a clue.

Damn that sucks man, did you toss them out already? Don't want to spread a lot of mold in your grow area. Also, maybe try building a proper SG fruiting chamber with ~5 inches of perlite, there's no way those cakes were getting enough air flow. Better luck next time

There were holes in the bottom of the fruiting chamber a few inches above the perilite and the terrarium was aired out everyday. Could anything besides the ventilation have been an issue?

Yeah I saw those holes, but those aren't enough to provide proper FAE, even if you fanned it every day. Another possibility is that you didn't properly boil/PC your jars, did you follow the PF tek to a tee? http://www.mushroomvideos.com/BRF-Pf-Tek

Yeah, I PC'd them properly and the cakes looked perfectly white for a few days after birthing but a few days ago they got this yellow mold. Is there anyway I could possibly cut the mold off and try to continue fruiting them?

Unfortunately no, the mold mycelium has probably spread throughout the entire cake at this point. If the mold was localized in a very small area, you might have had a chance. Get rid of those things!

Should never open a contaminated jar indoors like that.
That looks pretty gnarly. Make sure you bleach that tub to all hell and dispose of everything else properly.
